Today's card and video were inspired by the current Ai Blog Challenge which is called the "Green Galore Challenge". For this challenge we need to create a card or project using lots of green...in honor of St. Patrick's Day...but any green will do. Just have fun with the color green!
I really wanted to challenge myself so I decided to use the BRAND NEW Matchbook Cats Set (5730). So our walls, furniture, pillows, rug, etc. will be done in a variety of greens. I would never have used this combination on my own without this challenge. That is why these challenges are so great...they really help you get inspired to look at your supplies in a whole new way...and maybe combine things together that you may not normally think of doing.
Just keep in mind that you will need the MB Template Dies (5317) to create the base of the card and you will need the MB Envelope Dies (5318) to create the coordinating envelope.
I will give you all of the instructions for assembling the little matchbook and envelope! These are so much fun to create and collect. There are LOTS AND LOTS of matchbook designs to choose from but this little cat set is brand new and just so very cute!
The new release also includes the following Matchbook Sets: MB Chicken (5731), and MB Tool Shed (5729)! These new sets are just so cute and will be a great addition to your Matchbook collection!
We will be using some absolutely beautiful papers today. These papers have all different shades of greens and turquoise greens which are perfect for this project!
All of the coloring was done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Emerald Green, Turquoise Green, Ever Green, Lt Green, Deep Green, Moss Green, Brick Beige, Beige, Lt Brown, Brown, Mid Brown, Lt Gray, Cool Gray #6.
