Hello folks, this is Mercy, I'm back! I missed creating, coloring and sharing my work with you all. Unfortunately, I must report a significant decline in my coloring abilities....Wow! It's rough! Going forward, I will listen to what I preach: practice, practice and practice some more. The other challenge I'm encountering is picking my colors, I stared at my Copics for 20 minutes and finally decided to use one of the most useful tools, the Color Wheel. No fail, always dependant!
For the next few weeks I will be discussing a few of my go to's when I use the color wheel.
There are many color wheel calculators that help in the understanding of how to use the wheel. For this project I used the following site, Wheel Color Calculator
Today's card is simple and fun and was created by using only two complementary colors, orange and blue. Here it is,
Basically, no matter what stamps you use, visually the colors will work. Another example of complementary colors are red and green as shown in the following chart, Basic Color Wheel.
This is it for me this week, stay tuned for the Challenge card featuring more color theory adventures.
Take care,

Mercy first of all what do you mean that your coloring can be lacking. I have always liked the colors you use. Thank you for refreshing all of us on how to use the color wheel. The color wheel can be a very handy device. Especially when I am overwhelmed with paper choices.
I love your card. So very cute.
So lovely....thank you
