Last year, the very magical 5935 - Fairytale Houses Set was released. The images in this set are miniature and have several fanciful homes and many accessories. It also includes the sentiment I used on the card. Usually Ai Sentiments are a few words. I enjoy the lines of the enchanting birthday poem in this set.
To make this card, I first colored and cut out the coffee pot house, flower, mushrooms, and fence. I added several details to the house such as window panes and wood lines in the door, shutters and house peak. These little touches add a lot of fun details to the image but it's certainly not required to get a great result. I stamped the poem on kraft cardstock. Then I glued a watercolor blue panel to it before cutting it into a rectangle. I cut a slice of grass and applied it at the border of the kraft and blue cardstocks. Then I arranged the house, mushrooms, and fence along the grass border. Before gluing the house in place, I tucked the flower into the spout for a whimsical touch.
I cut an A2 sized rectangle from a floral pattern in the new 6033 - Inspirational Easter PP. Next, I cut an interior scalloped frame from pink cardstock and the interior frame from a polka dot pattern from the paper pack. These were added to the floral rectangle and then I glued the panel to a white A2 card base. Finally, I added pink and blue enamel hearts as accents.
