Congratulations on your retirement!

There are 2 women that I work closely with that
are retiring at the end of this school year.  This
is a card that I plan to take to school for our "lunchtime crew"
to sign.  There are several of us that have had lunch together
almost every day for the past 4 years and we want to
do something special for our friends leaving us.
This is for one of the women who loves gardening
and flowers.

The stamp I used is called Country To.
It's from the Envelope Art line at Art Impressions.

The cool thing about this stamp is that it's meant to go
on the front of your envelope.  It's just too pretty to only
go on the envelope though.  I thought it deserved its own
card.  I took a photo split and cut it in half.  I placed the
sticky side on to the "to" to block it out.  Then I inked up my
stamp,  pulled of the sticker and stamped the image. This way
I get the beautiful mailbox without the "to" on it.

I used Spellbinders dies for the ovals and the larger
part of the flower.  The smaller flower was made with
a punch.

I've also used a verse from AI on the front.

Here's a photo of the inside where
I used a Martha Stewart punch to make a picket fence.
