Youth!

Hi Ai Fans!
Every time I see this stamp called "Jean", it reminds me of my Grandma. In the Retirement home that she lived the ladies used to decorate their walkers depending on the season or holiday. They would all park their walkers to go into the dining room and then you could view all the different decorated masterpieces! It was a fun way to accept the fact that you needed a walker.

I coloured up Jean 2 different ways and used 2 different colour themes from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 collection.
I think the "Been There" sentiment goes perfectly with this funny stamp!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: N1, N3, N5
Top: R20, R21, R22/ white gel pen
Skirt: BG11, BG13
Walker: Silver Wink of Stella / YG05, YG07
Decorations: YR21, YR23, R22, R24

Remember "When life gives you  lemons..... make lemonade"

Happy Stamping!

Jean by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
The Golden Oldies are such classic Ai images!!  I really love using them for cards - today I'm sharing Jean (Sku # T3476) paired up with Not Deaf (Sku # E3477) as my sentiment:
The socks and the tennis balls simply make the image - and I love that she's all dolled up with earrings and makeup!
I zigzagged with my sewing machine to finish her off, added some enamel dots and popped up my sentiment.
Copics used: Greys - C5, C3, C1, C00
Skin tones - E11, E00, E000, R20
Blues - B05, B02, B01, B00, B000, B0000
Pinks - RV17, RV14, RV13, RV10
Oranges - YR18, YR16, YR15
Yellows - Y38, Y35, Y32
Greens - YG03, YG01, YG00

Jean by Judith

Hello Ai Fans!

One of the things I love most about this hobby is that there is always something new to learn or try.  For instance, I have never coloured an outline around my images with copic markers before.  I had just about finished colouring Jean when my red bled (between her legs…ewww!).  Sorry!

Anyway, I didn't want to throw the whole thing away (it takes me ages to colour), but I thought of my teamie Cheryl and the way she colours these awesome outlines around her images.  So I gave it a go… it hid the worst of the bleed, but boy is the outline harder to do than I thought… obviously something I am going to need to practice!  LOL.

Have a fabulous Friday :)

A thank you from Jean.

Hello Ai fans!

Click HERE for the OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop!

I'm sharing a card featuring Jean (SKU# T3476) using the Grad card kit (SKU#4304).

I used the sketch #161 from Operation Write Home.

I colored the Jean with copic markers, fuzzy cut her out, adhered with some foam dots.  I also added a couple wooden button from GF Card Kit 1 or Kit 2 (SKU#4302 or SKU#4303) and a wooden sentiment.

I hope you like you and have a great day!
