Tasha here sharing a new birthday card featuring the SC0794 - Big Birthday Wishes Set. I love creating birthday cards and this stamped image is just too cute!

To make this pink celebration card, I started by stamping and coloring the main image with markers. I also brought in more pink color by ink blending the edges of the center card with Distress Oxide Ink. I think this gives a nice spotlight in the center of the card.

For the greeting, I stamped "Aged to Perfection" with a deep pink ink and used a small banner die to cut it out. I also added a layer of gray glitter paper to mat the sentiment; the pink and gray colors look awesome together!

Lastly, I attached layers of gray glitter paper, pink heart pattern paper, and gray card stock to complete the design. I think this card turned out great and will be perfect to send to someone special on their birthday!

Tasha here sharing a birthday card created with the fun 5255 - Birthday Cake Set!

This cute cake themed stamp set includes several cakes, sentiments, and coordinating dies. I stamped this festive cake with black ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I love that each layer has a different look. I would love a cake like this for my birthday!

To spotlight the cake, I used a sunburst stencil and two shades of Distress Oxide Ink. I blended the ink in a circular pattern to give a unique glowing look. I like the pops of yellow in the background!

Lastly, I added layers of green glitter paper, hot pink card stock, and a lime green polka-dot pattern paper. Pink and green is one of my favorite color combinations! I also attached a "Happy Birthday" banner before adhering the card to an A2 sized card base.

Tasha here sharing a new card perfect for a special 2021 Grad! This card was created with the Graduation Stamp Set and this owl has to be the cutest grad image ever!

This smart owl is so fun and I love his cool shorts! I wanted the shorts to really stand out, so I colored them with a pretty lime green color and used the same color on his little grad cap tassel!

I stamped the sentiment "Cool Hat Bro!" in black; this is a great sentiment for a Grad Cap card fold!

To complete the card, I stamped "Congrats" under the cap and left enough room for a personal greeting. This is one of my favorite card folds and I can't wait to send these out to some special 2021 grads!

We had so much fun with our Watercolor Throwbacks last week! Isn't it fun to get to bring back some of the classics to try out? For those who missed it, never fear, we will have a new Watercolor Throwbacks with Kendra on the 1st Tuesday of every month! 

If you missed last week, you are welcome to join us on February 2nd!

Reminder to those wanting to apply, tomorrow is the last day of our 2021 Design Team Call!!

We are looking for:

Passionate stampers with a love for Ai designs.
Great coloring and stamp techniques. Watercolor stamping experience is a plus!
Fabulous card coordination (ex. color combos, layers, accents).
Creative and self-motivated designers.
Friendly folks who love email communication.

Requirements:

Must have an active blog and be connected with online communities.
Willing to submit to publications.
Create a weekly Ai blog post and Feature Post on a rotating schedule.
Create 2-3 monthly challenge examples for our card contest.
Comment on card contest entries.
Must be willing to post on social media.
Mail-in 10 monthly cards to Ai.

Benefits:

Welcome to our Challenge Feature for this Week!

Lynn has a fun and creative celebration project for our new card-making challenge!

Happy Wednesday Ai Fans!!!

In today’s card and video will will be creating this fun feline “Let’s Pawty” Card!  This card is inspired by the current Art Impressions Blog Challenge which is to create a celebratory card for the 300th challenge!!!

We will be using the brand new and super cute Feline Set (5369). This set has many cute feline images as well as some fun sentiments and the best part is that the dies are included!!!! 

To set the scene for these two mischievous little kitties, we will be creating a beautiful sky and grassy border using the two newest Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Crackling Campfire and Rustic Wilderness! We will also mix up our stamp and die sets to create a fun "Pawty" scene for our feline friends!
