Chameleon and Perfect Paper Crafting Blog Hop Day 6!

Hello AI Fans!!

Welcome to day 6 of our blog hop with Chameleon Pens and Perfect Paper Crafting! We hope you're enjoying this week long adventure and are getting lots of inspiration from all the amazing creations!  You should have arrived here from the Perfect Paper Crafting Bog!

Today I'm showing you a new Art Impressions Stamp Set that is exclusive to Hobby Lobby called Live Laugh Love. It comes with 7 stamps!

So have you tried the Chameleon pens yet? It's amazing that you can get so many different shades of color out of one pen! From highlights all the way down to deep shadows!  I used the Primary Color Set for my card today, using YL2, GR3, RD4, and BL6.

Many years ago, I purchased a Perfect Layers set, but for this card I used the Perfect Layers Mini Border Tool Set which is perfect for making cards or matting photographs! What I really love about it is that with a paper trimmer, you have to have at least one straight edge in order to easily trim your paper straight.  With the Perfect Layers tools, you can use any piece of scrap paper that is large enough for what you want! It doesn't matter how crooked the edges are! I adhered my image to a piece of black scrap paper and trimmed it perfectly all the way around!

Then I adhered it to a scrap piece of the yellow polka dot papers and trimmed that with a nice wide border, then again with the black mat! Easy peasy!!

Simply added my sentiments, a flower with a silk bow, and some Viva décor pearls!

Chameleon and Perfect Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Hello AI fans!!

We are having a fun hop today with Chameleon and Perfect Paper Crafting! You should have arrived here from Perfect Paper Crafting's Blog.

On my card today i used the AI stamp set With a Friend Window, Chameleon Earth Tone Set and Perfect Paper Crafting Mini Layers.

I started by stamping With a Friend Window in black ink on some white card stock. Next i colored the scene with my Chameleon Pens. I used the Earth Tone Set, which worked very well with this image!

I took some real close up photo's so you can see the shading i did on the chair, cats, trees and ground. It took a little practice but i really like the result!!

Next i pulled out Perfect Paper Crafting's Mini Layers tool. I decided to mix up the widths and i mated the image with some colored card stock that matched the Earth Tone coloring i did. This is really handy tool for matting, SOOOO easy to use!!

I practiced a little first and a little tip for you, adhere your colored panel first! You really don;t want it to move on you!! To finish off my card i just adhered my layered panel to a square white card base. The whole card measures 4 x 4!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Your next stop in the Hop is Chameleon Pens!!

And don;t forget to enter for a special giveaway!!!

Still Have Teeth by Diane Zechman - Chameleon & Perfect Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Hello Ai friends!

Art Impressions is having a special hop this week with Chameleon pens & Perfect Paper Crafting!  What a fun combination!  From June 15th-21st we are having a mini blog hop each day between the three company blogs.

You should have arrived here from Perfect Paper Crafting.

I used one of Art Impressions' NEW wood mount stamps exclusive to AC Moore to create my card...Still Have Teeth (PS0921).  What a fun image to make a masculine card!

All except his skin and hair were colored with Chameleon Pens- Primary Tones.  These pens are a bit different than what I am used to but it only took a few tries to get the hang of it.  The colors were very vibrant.  These unique pens give a gradation of color so you only need one pen to achieve the results.

The layers for my card were cut with the Mini Perfect Layers tool and a Perfect Paper Crafting Cutting Mat.  I used a mix of 1/16th (black layers) and 3/16th (yellow layer) on my card.  The tool is very easy to understand how to use and helpful in quickly achieving various sizes of mats for your project.

The finished card...

Thanks for popping in!  Be sure to check out the full hop- your next stop today is the Chameleon blog!
