Decorated Gift Card holder for a kitchen shower by Sharon Caudle

 Hello AI Fans!

I've got a decorated Gift Card holder to show you today that features the new 5811 Gift Card Pocket Die Set and fits right in with the Just For You Challenge that is going on right now! This new pocket die is just perfect and you can personalize it for ANYTHING!! This time, I've created a pocket to hold a gift card or certificate for a kitchen shower. Do you have anyone getting married that is having a kitchen themed shower? This would be perfect for it!! I had so much for decorating this that I just couldn't stop with the front! LOL! I continued it right onto the back!! The images were stamped onto an alcohol ink friendly paper and then colored with Copic markers which are listed below.

That's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!

Kitchen Matchbook by Karen Day

 Hello Ai fans!

Have you tried the Art Impressions Matchbooks, yet?  Everything 'mini' is big right now, and these are so quick and easy to colour and assemble.  Here is 5320 - Kitchen Set:

It all starts with the 5318 - MB Envelope Dies set, with includes the main die for the envelope, and a bunch of small dies to decorate it with - I added a coordinating bow:
You open the flap to see a little folded card inside!
The 5317 - MB Template Die is the base of the card, and works best in double sided paper:

Just open the flap, and the tiny card unfolds.
All of the pieces pop up to make a darling 3D card that is about 2" x 2 1/2".  The Kitchen set includes all the little pieces that you see here, plus their coordinating dies - you can cut and stamp them all at once, then quickly colour them like I did with Copic markers, and a little paper piecing for the tablecloth.  The kitten is from the 5324 MB Cat Accessories Set.  Each piece has a flap that folds back and glues onto the base.
A close up of those adorable windows!

There are all kinds of Matchbooks to choose from, you can find them on the Ai website here!

Perfectly Tiny Creations by Bri Firth

Hi Ai Fans! I am continuing to share a brand new miniature collection with you! My creations today feature the Craft Room Matchbook, Birthday Matchbook, and the MB Wall Accessories set. I have also included an assembly video the featuring Kitchen Matchbook set so make sure to check it out! These projects are also featured on my personal blog today, check it out here.

These matchbooks are fairly simple to put together and they are assembled almost identically. To create the rooms you also need the Matchbook Template die and the Matchbook Envelope die. At the bottom of this post I have provided a video on how to assemble one of these projects. I used my Copic markers to color all of the images that build the scenes inside of the matchbooks.

Project 1 - Craft Room Matchbook

I used scor tape to adhere the folded flaps on the images to the matchbook templates. The flaps are helpful as they provide guided scor lines and they help you with the image placement within the scene. To finish the scene I glued the sentiment flaps towards the front of the scenes

Project 2 - Birthday Matchbook

The best part about this collection is how well it folds up into a tiny matchbook! Once closed it fits inside a mini envelope with dimensions of 2" x 2.25". I just love all the coordinating colors between these two projects. I finished these projects by adding a scalloped die cut with stamped sentiments to the backs of the envelopes. I also added ribbons to the envelope flaps. Check out the video below for guidance on how to assemble these fun creations!
