Swingin’ Through Retirement! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a fun golf-themed card created with the new 6080-Birdie Betty Stamp Set and the 6101-Golf Paper Pack.

I started by stamping Betty and her golf bag with black ink, cutting them out with the included dies, and coloring them up. One of my favorite things about Art Impressions is how cute the outfits always are; I had so much fun giving Betty a purple and white look with pops of pink on her shoes and glasses. Honestly, I’d love to have an outfit like this for a day on the golf course!

To build the card, I layered Betty and her bag over a patterned paper from the Golf Pack; I love the little golf scene design.

For the sentiment, I stamped “Swingin’ Through Retirement” and die-cut it with a circle, then added a small purple heart to tie in with her outfit. A mix of green, tan, and plaid layers finished everything off with that classic golf vibe.

Hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

Happy 60th Birthday! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions Friends!

Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the current Milestone Birthday Challenge. I love making birthday cards, but there is something extra special about celebrating a milestone birthday. For my project I used the SC0680-Spare Me Stamp Set to create a masculine 60th Birthday card; I love this bowling theme!

I started by stamping the bowler with black hybrid ink and colored him with Copic Markers. To frame the image, I cute an oval and used yellow Distress Oxide ink around the edges to bring in more color and a golden glow.

For the number 60, I used the 5911-Large Number Die Set and cut the numbers out twice to raise it up a bit. I used regular card stock for the bottom layer and added the gold glitter paper to the top. I thought the gold coordinated well with the other colors used and added a nice pop of sparkle.

The sentiment was also included in this stamp set and is the perfect size to add under the bowler. I also added layers of card stock and gold glitter to give a more finished look.

Lastly, I attached layers of teal, white, and dark teal card stock and a piece of checker pattern paper. These colors give the card a retro look, and I love the teal, black and white color combination!

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you will join in the challenge!

Love You More! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new Valentine's Day card created with the super cute 5005 - Valentine Bears Set and 5741 - Valentines Paper Pack.

I have been working on Valentine's Day cards lately and just had to create a card with this sweet little bear stamp. He is adorable with his paper heart banner and little blue top. I started by stamping the bear with black ink and used masking paper to cover him before creating the background. I made a dark brown wooden floor and covered the background wall with red hearts to bring in more color and coordinate with the Valentine's Day theme.

After the center card was completed, I added layers of gold glitter paper, red, black, and white card stock, and a piece of pretty heart pattern paper. Lastly, I stamped "Love You More" on to a simple white banner to complete the design. I think this card will be perfect to send to a special someone this Valentine's Day!

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Winter Wishes! Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the current "Under the Dome" Challenge. This challenge is all about shaker cards and I thought is was a great time to make a Christmas shaker card.

My project features one of the penguins from the new 5929-Christmas Train Set. This set has several cute penguin stamps to choose from and this little guy was the perfect size to fit inside the plastic dome. I also created a little snowy background before adding the winter themed sequins; these colors are so pretty!

After my shaker was completed, I added a sparkly silver glitter layer, a scalloped red frame, and layers of black card stock, silver glitter paper, and a candy cane pattern paper. I also attached a snowflake pattern paper from the 5963-Winter Woodland Paper Pack to coordinate with the scene.

Lastly, I added a simple "Winter Wonderland" greeting before adhering the card to a white card base.

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you will join in this fun challenge!
