Be My Valentine! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday, Art Impressions Friends!

Tasha here, sharing a cheerful Valentine's Day card inspired by the current Highlights Challenge! For this project, I used the sweet  M3229-Valentine Mail stamp featuring the cutest little birdie.

This small stamp is packed with charming details, and I love how the sentiment perfectly frames the design. To bring it to life, I colored the image using Copic Markers and added tiny highlights with a white paint marker—I love adding highlights!

Once the center card design was complete, I framed it with layers of sparkling silver glitter paper, classic black cardstock, and a gorgeous alcohol ink-blended background I created myself. The vibrant colors match the Valentine's theme beautifully! If you're curious about making your own ink-blended backgrounds, be sure to check out my detailed tutorial here.

To finish the card, I layered it on Art Impressions' heart-patterned paper and added extra black cardstock to tie everything together.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope today’s card inspires you to join the Highlights Challenge!

Spring Journal Series Page Peek by Janet

Hello Ai Fans! Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of one the four journal pages that I'll be showing you how to make in Episode 3 of my Spring Journal next Saturday. I am coloring this with Copic Markers and show you how I color the images and the simple color combos I use. My journal is well underway and it's coming out super sweet. Perfect for the Easter or spring season. It's so fun because I can use all the bright colors I love without holding back!

I used 5401 - Easter Chicks Set for these two adorable chicks and accompanying images. The plaid paper comes from the Valentine Paper Pack. I used the Journal Template Set to cut the plaid paper. I also used the bow die to decorate the hat. The pretty frame is part of the 5591 - Journal Rectangle Frames Die Set.

If you have missed the first two videos in this series, start here with Episode 1:

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you are enjoying the entire Journal line!

Wishing you a very crafty day!
