Happy Halloween! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday, Art Impressions fans!

Tasha here with a fun new Halloween card to share. Fall is right around the corner, and I’m so excited to dive into festive Halloween designs! For today’s project, I used the 5769-Halloween FB Fence Set and the 5456-Spooky Wagon Set to create a playful, not-so-spooky scene.

I started by layering the fence frame over a piece of Art Impressions star pattern paper; one of my favorites for Halloween! The purple sky sets the perfect backdrop. From there, I added two little ghosts and two bats (with their eyes drawn in using a white gel pen for extra detail).

In front of the fence, I tucked in autumn leaves, a tiny pumpkin, and the cutest kitty wearing a witch hat; I just love cat stamps! Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a spider crawling on the pumpkin for a little Halloween charm.

To finish it off, I layered golden yellow, white, and black metallic paper, and a piece of candy corn pattern paper for that extra festive touch. This card was so much fun to make, and I can’t wait to create even more Halloween designs this season!

Cozy Fall Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the When One Door Closes challenge. Since Fall is right around the corner (my favorite season!), I used the 5492-Front Porch Harvest Set to create a cozy autumn scene; pumpkins included, of course! 🎃

For the background, I stenciled a soft brick design with beige distress ink and popped up the stamped images with foam tape for extra dimension. To finish, I layered brown, golden yellow, and white card stock with a touch of leafy patterned paper to tie in the fall colors. A stitched die cut panel and a few white gel pen details pulled everything together.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will join in the fun When One Door Closes challenge!

Time to Par Tee! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the current Art Impressions Sports & Leisure Challenge. For this project, I used the 4902-Par-Tee Golfers Set and the 5062-Rounded Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies to create a fun golf-themed design.

I stamped the golfer lady with black ink and colored her outfit in pink Copic shades; perfect for a sunny day at the country club! The background features fluffy stenciled clouds and green grass (my favorite combo to make!). To frame the scene, I layered white and pink cardstock with plaid paper and added a pop of gold glitter.

To finish the card, I stamped “Let’s...Par Tee!” in pink ink and die-cut it with a rounded rectangle before popping it up with foam tape. I also attached two clear rhinestones to her skirt for extra sparkle. Such a fun way to celebrate the challenge theme!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will join in the Sports & Leisure Challenge!

Hatty Birthday! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a new shaker card featuring the fun 5404-Miss Set. I love making birthday cards, and adding a shaker element makes it feel extra festive and special!

To start, I stamped the lady and her birthday hat with black hybrid ink and colored them with Copic Markers. The coordinating dies included in this set made cutting the images quick and easy; and I love that the hat die is designed to fit perfectly on top of her head!

For the shaker, I used the 5063-Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies along with foam tape to create a raised frame. I added a piece of “Happy Birthday” patterned paper for the background and filled it with pretty sequins before sealing it up. On the acetate, I stamped “Hatty Birthday” and added a layer of silver glitter paper for extra sparkle.

To finish the card, I layered gray, white, and pink cardstock with more glitter paper for a coordinated look. A few white enamel dots were the perfect final touch to complete this fun, celebratory design.

Warm Winter Wishes! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the current Stitches & Scallops Challenge. For this project, I used the super cute 5802 – Joyful Snowman Set and 6047 – Scalloped Square Dies to create a cheerful winter scene. It’s never too early to get a head start on holiday cards!

I stamped the snowman with black ink and colored him with Copic markers. To give his winter accessories extra personality, I used a black liner pen to draw a knitted pattern; little custom touches like this are some of my favorite ways to add detail. I even added a tiny heart to his pocket for an extra sweet look. After that, I cut him out with the coordinating die and popped him up with foam tape for dimension.

For the background, I created a snowy hill and paired it with Art Impressions snowflake pattern paper for the sky. To match the challenge theme, I added scalloped frames in two sizes; one with a slightly different scalloped edge, which adds great visual interest.

The card base features layers of blue, white, and gray cardstock, along with a piece of blue plaid pattern paper that ties in perfectly with the colors on the snowman. To finish it off, I used a white gel pen to add extra snowflakes directly onto the snowman for that frosty, wintery feel.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you’ll join us in the challenge!
