Village Try Folds by Jessica Griffin

The weather is getting cold, and we've been using the fireplace a bit more. It's time to start thinking about Christmas cards if you'll be making them. Assuming you haven't already started! :)

I wanted something classy, that would stick out when my friends and family received our cards, so I went with something non-traditional... black and white!

I used "Village" from the Try Folds collection to create this one dimensional card. I rounded the corners on the white card stock, but opted to leave the base square.

I sprayed some white seam binding with Lindy Stamp Gang's new Winter Wonderland collection, I used Frozen Jack Frost. Hopefully you can see the sparkle in the photo.

Everyone always comments on my bows, and let me tell you, I cheat. Big time! I tie my bow first. Then I lay down a piece of seam binding (ribbon, whatever I'm using), put a twist in the ribbon where I'll put the bow, and then I use a Glue Dot to adhere the bow. Putting the little twist in the ribbon makes it appear as though the ribbon and bow are one piece.

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
