Hello Ai fans!
I hope you enjoyed seeing all the fabulous new Spinner sets launched here on the blog last Thursday - and the wonderful Design Team creations! I am sharing a suspended easel card today using the new Fairy Spinner Set (Sku #4546):
Our little fairy is suspended on a piece of thread, which allows her to spin freely in the opening. And spin, she does! It was actually pretty funny trying to take these photos, as I had to time it for when she was facing forward!! I finally developed a method of blowing on her to keep her steady, while trying to keep the camera steady and take the shot - would've made a good video :o)Here is her rear view. Make sure to check out the matching dies that are available for all the spinner sets, as they make assembly such a breeze.
Here is what she looks like when the card is flat. You can see the middle strip of blue which is scored so that the front folds in half. To see more detailed instructions on how I put her together, check out the post on my blog here!
Copics used: Skin tones - E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair - W5, W3, W1, W00
Pinks - R89, R85, R83, R81
Oranges - YR18, YR16, YR15
Greens - G46, G43, G41
Blues - B01, B00, B000

Your spinner cards are the best! I think this image is my favourite! Love the colours too. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall while you were trying to take pictures!! LOL
I think she's my favorite too...she cracks me up! I love how you framed her and the papers make this a super fun card!
FUN FUN FUN!!!! She is sooooo CUTE, Karen! I just love the papers you've used. And gorgeous coloring as always! :)
Awesome card!! Love the fairy!! I also had a hard time getting my spinner to face forward! I like your idea of blowing on it! I used my finger to hold it, got my camera ready and quickly moved my finger while pressing the camera button! I got a few finger photos, but luckily a couple without!! hehe!!
Super super cool and the fairy is so so cute! Love her! Awesome card, what a genius idea to blow on it card, so it moves!
