Today the amazing Dana is here to share how she used her Howl-oween Set! Check it out!

Hello, AI friends!! Dana here with a little tutorial using the new Howl-oween Stamp Set!! Aren't these cute!! And the faces on the dogs and cat are just perfect!!! My tutorial features ink blending with two colors and a stencil!

I started my cards by stamping several of the images since I'm going to have my markers down I might as well color a bunch of images to have ready for future cards! I used my Spectrum Noir Markers: EB1, EB2, GB8, IG1, IG2, IG4, CR1. After coloring, I used sharp scissors and fussy cut them all out. I ended up make two cards one with the bunny and the girl baby!

For my background, I cut a panel of watercolor card stock and used washi tape to hold it down. I placed a Tim Holtz spider web stencil over the panel. I used Hero Art's Soft Granite and an ink applicator to add ink around the outer edge of the web. Then I went with Black Soot Distress Ink at the web centers. I went back in with the gray and black again to blend the overlap between the two colors.

Here is how it looks with the stencil removed.

I cut a strip of black card stock and pattern paper. On the black card stock, I heat embossed the sentiment in white.

I added foam tape to the back of both strips and then added them to my web panel. Then I trimmed off the overhang.

Then I added foam tape to my images and added them to my panel.

Last I just adhered the panel to a white card base with double sided tape.

I decided to make another card with the same layout only using the cat in the pink baby outfit. I used the same steps above for the cat card. To color the cat I used BG4, BG6, BG7, CR1, CR2, CR3, CR6.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope this inspires you to grab these new Halloween sets and get started on your Halloween cards!!
