Happy Meow-lloween Card by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing a spooky card design featuring the Meow-lloween Set. This project is perfect for Ai's current challenge, "Going Batty". Also, this Halloween card is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here! 

First, I die cut a stitched rectangle panel from the Rectangle Double Stitched dies set and ink blended over it with Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks. I used gold paint and the splatter technique to add some shimmer to the ink blended background.

I colored the images with my Copic Sketch markers. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post.

To finish this card front, I stamped the sentiment in pigment black ink into a stitched flag die cut from the Flag Double Stitched dies set. I heat embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder.

I decided to decorate the inside of this card as well to make this card extra batty! I used a Spiderweb Stencil with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to decorate the top panel. I stamped the "Boo" sentiment and colored the spooked critters on the bottom panel.

Can you believe we are almost a week into October already?  Halloween is just around the corner and today I am sharing a card using the Meow-lloween Set (4786) .

You may have seen this style of card called a Swing Card or a Flip Card but either way, they are lots of fun.  I stamped and adhered the owl image to one side of the circle flip frame... and stamped the sentiment and a candy on the other.  As the card is pulled, the circle flips from one image to the other.

The owl is super cute and I drew a squiggly line around the edge of the circle layer.  The star is popped up and has Stickles applied.

I love the font on this fun sentiment and how sweet is the little candy?!

Meow-lloween! by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!

By now I'm sure you've seen the fabulous new Halloween images that Art Impressions has come out with for 2016, and I have a few of them to share today!  Here are three cards using Meow-lloween Set (Sku #4786):

These were such fun images to colour!  I used a mix of patterned papers, cutting a couple of rectangles on the diagonal, and using them for a couple of cards.

 And this is what I call a 'Simple Spinner Card' - unlike the Ai Spinners that have a front and back image that spin around, this is just a single image that I cut out with an oval die, and then mounted some patterned paper onto the backside, after sandwiching a piece of thread down the middle.  I used my next largest oval die to cut an opening in my card base, and suspended my little oval in the middle of it.  (So you can turn just about any image into a spinner!)
