Introducing Ai Bible Journaling! NEW WC Stamps and Dies! Plus, Challenge 240 Bookmarks & Tags Week 2!

Ai Bible Journaling
Welcome to our NEW line, Ai Bible Journaling! We have crafted five scripture-based stamp sets featuring images and uplifting phrases, as well as complementary Flower and Foliage sets. Additionally, our Serif Letters clear set and Block Letters Die Set are perfect for creating words in your Bible or paper crafting projects! While these sets are designed to fit in the columns of a journaling Bible, they are also compatible with our Ai Watercolor collection. To accommodate the larger images, we have created a new Acrylic Block set, which includes a 4"x3" block. Plus, we found the solution to have no bleed-through when using water-based pens on Bible pages! Use our Bible Protector Sheet to easily brush Watercolor Ground on both sides of the page for a smooth, absorbent texture - perfect for watercoloring!

We are so excited about this line and have partnered with the inspirational Jann Gray to offer tutorials and Bible studies! Jann and Bonnie will each be creating two videos monthly for this line, as well as downloadable studies will be available on Jann's website! More details to come! Also, follow Bonnie on Instagram at instagram.com/bonniekrebs.biblejournaling as she shares her heart while creating in her Bible!  These sets are now available at artimpressions.com, so order yours today!

Hello Watercolor Friends,

You still have time to enter the Art Impressions Bookmarks & Tags challenge on the Ai blog. You could win a stamp set of your choice!

I used the new Bible Journaling Stamps to make this bookmark. I'm going to journal in the bible my Dad gave me but I don't have the watercolor ground yet (it's on the way). Art Impressions now has all the supplies you need to start journaling in your bible. I used the 5067 - Gates of Righteousness Set which even has four different sentiments included. I just love this set! The leaves and grass are from the 5073 - Bible Foliage Set. The flowers are from the 5074 - Bible Flower Set.

The new Art Impressions Bible Journaling Sets are very versatile. Not only can you create beautiful watercolor illustrations in your bible, but you can also use them as traditional watercolor stamps on watercolor paper as I have with my “Guiding Light” project.

Stamp the lighthouse from the My Fortress Set in African Violet. Watercolor the Art Impressions way by pulling the color from the lines. Scribble African Violet onto your palette and brush in for the night sky and ocean. Create a mask with post-it notes to cover the lighthouse. Stamp the pine tree and foliage from the Bible Foliage Set in a combination of African Violet and Pine Green for deep dark trees. Add a bit of every color to your palette. Brush a little Magenta and Pine Green into the top portion of the night sky. Brush Ochre in for the light from the lighthouse as well as onto the lighthouse. Deepen the night sky and lighthouse with moreAfrican Violet (be sure to work around the yellow light). Create grass with Pine Green. Brush Sepiaonto the roof of the lighthouse and rocks. Cover the lighthouse with the post-it mask again. Using a small paint brush and Copic Opaque White, splatter the upper portion of the night sky to create tiny little white stars. Darken the lines of the lighthouse with the fine tip of African Violet.

I used the Light to my path set, Bible Foliage Set and the Bible Flower Set to create this project. These new stamps were created for Bible Journaling, but they can be used for so much more. I used the bench stamp from the Light to my path set. I inked the entire stamp in Sepia and added African Violet to the stones and lantern. I pulled the color out of the lines and added some additional color from my watercolor palette. I added Brilliant Yellow to the panes of the lantern and some around it as well.

I used the Grafx Art Masking liquid to create a mask for the stars. While it was drying I added the vines from the Bible Foliage set in Olive Green. I added some of the Bible Flower blooms inked in African Violet to the fines. I then inked the lilies from the Bible Flowers stamp inked in Violet and Olive Green.

I used Violet, Eggplant, African Violet and Black to create a night sky. I layered the colors being sure each layer was dry before I added the next layer. Once it was dry I rubbed off the mask revealing the stars. I signed and dated my piece.

This was so easy and fun! Join us for the new release, visit our social media pages to see all the Guest Design Team projects. You will be seeing a lot more projects with these stamp sets in the future.
