Made With Love by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I just adore the elephants in the twist tie stamp set.  When I saw a similar image by Ai on the Mail Delivery set by The Stampers Village I got really happy.  You can read all about the stamp set here.  The whole point of The Stampers Village is to bring stamp retailers together to work together even though they are selling similar products.  It's all about building up the stamping industry.  Be sure to check out this amazing set because it has twelve images created by nine different stamp companies. The set is geared towards mail art, but I wanted to show you that it could easily be the focal point of your card.  I turned this into a shaker card, but it would also look great with several layers of decorative papers.
Stamp your image onto your watercolor paper with your Nocturne ink and emboss it with your clear embossing powder.  scribble some 526-True Blue Tombow marker onto your watercolor palette and use your brush to watercolor it onto your elephant.  Scribble some 725-Rhodamine Red Tombow marker onto your palette and use it along with the True Blue on your palette to color your flower.  Scribble some 296-Green Tombow marker onto your palette and color in the leaf.  Cut out the image with a circle die cut.
Use the largest A2 Rectangle Double stitched die to cut a yellow piece of cardstock and attach it to an A2 side folding card.  Use the largest Banner Double Stitched Die to cut a piece of paper from the Mondo Scrap Fly & Scrap 6"x6" paper collection ans attach it to the yellow layer. Use the largest Circle Double Stitched Die to cut another piece of patterned paper and a piece of acetate.  Also, combine the largest circle and the next size down to cut a frame from white cardstock.  Attach the frame and your colored elephant piece to the front of the acetate with glossy accents.  Attach two layers of 1/8" foam tape strips behind the frame to form your shaker walls.  Also form a shaker wall behind the elephant piece for some stability.  Be sure you don't have any gaps in the foam.  Add your holeless pearls to the shaker area and attach the patterned paper circle over the back of the shaker piece.  Glue the shaker piece over the banner layer.  Add some flat back pearls and some Diamond Stickles accents to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

So sweet and fun Jill! That's a great idea to use this stamp on a card front!
