Forever in My Heart by Mercy Sauer

Hello crafty friends, this is Mercy, today with a card full of techniques (and cuteness)

Let’s take a look,

This card includes a shaker background created using embossed vellum. Vellum is a great material and it embosses beautifully. It creates a subtle, see through panel, where only a hint of the shaker bits are seen. I added a double layer frame so the bunny is encased and the sentiment is floating on the frame. It is a thick card, but totally worth the extra postage!

Now let's talk about the cute bunny. It's from The Happy Spring Set, which at first look, you might think (and it is) perfect for Easter; however, this cutie is great for many occasions, if not all.
Overall I love this card, the palette is not my typical go to, a great way to challenge myself.

This is it for me this week. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, I am grateful to be part of Ai and Thankful for you and your support.
Hugs to all,

Art Impression Harvest Journal Paper Pack by Mercy Sauer

Welcome back to the Ai blog crafty friends, this is Mercy, feeling Thankful to be part of this group!

Today’s card is inspired by a previous card I created and posted on September 22.    This time, I’m excited to use the Ai Harvest Journal Paper Pack.    Similarly to the previous card, I’m using two watercolor stamps and using Copic markers to color instead of watercolors.    I chose the gold/yellow and seafoam/grey palette to complement the saturated and warmer Copic colors.

Let's take a look,

This card is a perfect example of stretching your supplies.  The interactive Lawn Fawn flipping awesome dies with the non-traditional colors, and alcohol markers instead of watercolors, makes for a unique card for a lucky recipient.

I hope you get the opportunity to play with the new Ai paper packs, beautiful patterns and color palettes.
I will catch you next week,

Pearl Challenge by Mercy Sauer

Diamonds and Pearls is our November Challenge. Who doesn’t love them? I do.  However, if I had to choose, I’m a pearl person...Just love them.

Today’s card is a simple one, a gold embossed sentiment and cake stamp. The icing on the cake you ask? beautiful pearl embellishments, let’s take a look,

Sometimes less is more, and this is a perfect example. I hope my card inspires you to create clean and simple cards.
Have fun with this challenge, I will see you soon!
