Hello Ai friends and happy Thursday!

 

Today I am sharing a card using one of my all-time favorite Ai sets...His & Hers Gardeners (SC0650) .  In fact, this was the first set I used when I joined the Ai design team...you can see my first card here.  What a fun memory!

 

This set, along with several others, was exclusive to the Michael's stores but if you don't have a local Michael's, you are in luck!  These sets can now be ordered through the Ai website!  yay! Click here!

 

My images were colored with Copics and cut out by hand, then added to a diecut card base.  I knew I wanted to use that cute bee so I went with black & yellow!

 

I love this gal!  Here's a close up...

 

And the cute bee and flowers... (I dotted over the "trail" with a white pen).

Hello AI friends!

 

Today is my first day to share a card with you!  As I was thinking about which stamps to use, I found this AI set called His & Hers Gardening which is exclusively sold in Michael's stores.  The sentiment was perfect for my first post today!  It reads "I'm so excited I wet my plants!"

 

I have to admit, though, that I am a terrible gardener!  I do not have a green thumb (unless I'm getting inky!)  LOL.

You can see below that I punched a decorative edge on the BACK of my card.  I thought I would take a few pics along the way to show you how easy it is to do.

 

Before I get to the card design, though, check out how cute the gardener is close up!  I paper pieced her apron to match the card.

 

And here is a side view showing the gardener, flower pots, and sentiment circle popped up.

Now here's a little picture tutorial to help you make the card base.  I forgot to mention that you should punch the corner first.

Sherry here today and I am sharing a card that I created using one of the images from the Ai His and Hers Gardeners set which is available exclusively at Michaels.

For my card I used just the lady gardener and the one of the sentiments.

(Copics Used: E00, E02, R20, N1, C3, C5, B0000, BG11

BG15, YR04, YR07, YR09, YG11, YG13, YG17)

I LOVE the look on her face and the sentiment just makes me laugh because I totally know what she is talking about.
