It's Christmas in July! This challenge is a tricky one: we want to see how you can use Christmas stamps for a non-Christmas craft. Do any ideas ring a bell? For some inspiration today, we have Dana from our design team to show her take on the challenge!

I hope you are excited to stretch your stamps because this is the challenge for it!! It took me a few days to come up with the idea for my card it's definitely a tough challenge!!
I did a little photo tutorial to share with you with a few tips along the way! For my card i used Nativity Wisemen, super cute little boys. My idea is that this is a card from three boys to their sister, and i really like how it turned out!!
First i stamped Nativity Wisemen on watercolor paper with Versafine black ink. Then i used a square die to to cut out the wisemen.
Next i used my Distress Markers, water and a fine paint brush to color the image. For their hats i used pink and purple because these boys are going to a girls birthday party, so they are getting festive!! :)
I added white polka-dots to the pink present the middle boy is holding.
I found some festive pattern paper to use behind my image. Then i die cut a double ended banner that i will stamp the Happy Birthday from the Out to Lunch stamp set. I also found some tiny alpha bet stickers that i'm going to use to spell out Sister.
I added the pattern paper to a white card base, then i added foam tape to the back of the banner and square.
Last i added the alpha stickers to spell out Sister. I have a little trick to use when you add alpha stickers to your project. To make sure that your word is centered, write it down on a scrap piece of paper. Next mark off the first and last letter, then the second from first and second from last letter and so on. You want to get to two letters that meet each other in the middle and draw a line in between them, this is the middle of your word. When you add your word to your project start with one of those two letters, knowing that the center is between them (Hopefully this makes since, haha!)
You can even do this with phrases, just mark off the spaces as a letter (as long as you want spaces on your project, of course!!)
Here are few photos of the finished card!
Now you might be thinking to yourself, that you have only one son or two sons and a daughter. All you have to do is A) Mask off one or more of the boys or B) cut off one or more of the boys! Easy as that!! You could even have your boys color the image to give to their sister!
I hope you like my little tutorial and card today! This hopefully inspires you to put on your thinking cap to use those Christmas stamps in new ways!!
