Hi all crafters and AI lovers =)
I'll start this year 2011 with baby card.

These are very fun and fast to make, no coloring =)
Just stamp baby text to patterned paper and cut out lines and attach to card with foam tape.
Then stamp one of the smaller text somewhere on your card.
These are worth to try !!!

Think Spring

Bunny Girl

With the weather we are experiencing now who wouldn't want to "think Spring!"  Can't you just picture the buds coming out, the leaves opening up and turning everything "Spring Green"! That's what I thought about as I colored this image.
When I was a little girl...believe me thats been a few moons ago, My Aunt Kate and my Grandmother Benjamin would come to visit in the spring and along with my mother and older sister we would take long walks in the woods picking wild flowers on the hillsides.  This little bunny reminds me of those many spring memories.  I hope you enjoy my "taste of spring".

Remember...." No winter lasts forever....every spring must take it's turn". I will be your regular "Tuesday" blogger with Art Impressions.  I hope next Tuesday to show you a sample of my Art Impressions watercolor.

If you have time please leave a comment. They are always appreciated and we like to know who stopped by for a visit.   Ya'all come back now, ya'hear! :D  ....Mary Witter

This is How I Get Most of MY Purses!!!

Today, I want to shoe you how I made this fun card using ART IMPRESSION stamps and Derwent INKTENSE water color pencils. First i stamped these adorable purses from Art Impressions in Stazon ink. I colored the areas i wanted to accent in blue with the Derwent pencils.
Then, I used a water brush to blend out the color. The color gets brighter and more intense with the addition of water. AWESOME!!!

Next, I added the background color for the purses and water colored them as well. On the purse buckles and hinges and tassels, I used my Sakura glitter pens and added the sparkle and bling!

I used my nesties and cut out the purses and sponged the edges with matching ink.

I added texture to the blue card stock with my cuttlebug folder.

I added some ribbon and here is my completed card!I stamped the sentiment in matching ink and punched it out and matted it with the matching green card stock. I know when I throw a fit, it usually ends in a purse! thanks for joining us today and PLEASE make sure to come back next Thursday when we will start doing CHALLENGES. There will be a monthly prize... so stay tuned!!!

Art Impressions Mouthfuls...FUN TO PLAY WITH!

These are some of my FAVORITE stamp sets from ART IMPRESSIONS!!! They are so fun to play with and I really and glad that they are back! I made this card by sponging the background with a cloud template. Then I cuttlebugged the "deck" that the kitty is sitting at. Next, I colored the kitty with copic markers and sponged some calico colors for some variation. I colored and cut out the fish, the sign, the hat and the basket and I arranged them to give the kitty some personality (even more than he already had!) and here is my creation!!! So fun and simple and I think this would be a fun card for that fisherman or woman in your life! Thanks for popping in and be ready to start some fun challenges with us soon! There will be a monthly prize for playing along!
