Today is an amazingly happy day!!
We're celebrating Art Impressions 29th Anniversary!!
Can you believe it?
They don't look a day over 25!
I made 3 different projects to help celebrate the occasion.
My first of course was the Ai 29 card. There will be a mini tutorial on this further down in the post.
The second was a birthday card...
The last was a little gift bag.

Now for my mini tutorial.
As you probably know Ai recently released two new "belly band" dies.
They're beautiful as is but did you ever think there may be more to them?
Why not use them as a border or some sort of other accent on your card or scrapbook page?
Exactly!
First I cut a piece of paper shorter than the die.
Next I cut a piece of a different color paper to glue behind it for contrast.
Lastly I cut it to the size that fit my card.
Isn't that cool? From clasp keeper to card border.
Here's the inside of the card.
Oh...and look! It can also be made into a banner!
My next project was a simple little gift bag. I just used a template and threw it together in no time flat. Can't you just see this filled with some candy? It makes the sentiment that much funnier!
The last thing I made to celebrate the occasion was a birthday card.

These are terrific! Always love seeing ways to stretch my dies!! I love all my AI stamps, but my fav is probably the feline set.
Happy Birthday Ai!!! My favorite all time stamp is "Bikers". It is the most hilarious bicycle stamp I have ever seen!!!! A perfect fit to my cards at my bicycle shop :)
Fabulous projects all over the place on this blog. All of them are so creative. Happy 29th.
And my favorite Ai stamp is the Weekend Warrior.
My favorite AI stamp is WC Series 7 because it has a darling cat on the bench. I wish you had more stamps with pets. Actually, I'd like the pets to be separate so they could be placed wherever I want them - beside a wheel barrow or a pot of flowers, or a gate, etc.

It is so hard to pick just one! I love all the Watercolor Foliage sets, Watercolor Series, and the Windows to the World. I guess my favorite would be the Watercolor series 3 sets 1 and 2.
