Renee's 14th Anniversary Giveaway!

Hello everyone and welcome to my 14th anniversary giveaway!

I'm not even going to make you upload an Art Impressions card because I know that makes some of you nervous! (I wish it wouldn't, we LOVE seeing your art)

All you need to do is leave a comment on this post (One comment per person please) telling me your favorite thing about Art Impressions or maybe how you discovered them. International entries are welcome.

For me, it was the humorous stamps, especially the people, with the animals being a close second.

I love that they've now added dies and paper.

I'll be giving away this Throwback from August 2024.
Winner will be announced on Sunday, July 13th.

If you already have this set and would still like to participate in the giveaway just let me know that in the comments. We'll figure something out.

It's GORGEOUS!

Renee's 13th Anniversary Giveaway

 Hello Ai fans!

Welcome to my 13th anniversary giveaway!
I know some people think 13 is an unlucky number, but for two
of you...it will be very lucky!

Flashback to Tuesday, July 5, 2011 when I was a nervous new
Design Team member. My first card was actually made for a NY Met!
My friend was friends with his wife and was going to their baby shower.
(No, I don't remember who it was)

I want to celebrate 13 fabulous years at Art Impressions with two giveaways for you!

I have two retired, exclusive sets to give away.

Let's get the fine print out of the way before you see what sets I'm offering.
You may enter one time for the chance to win one of the sets. You just need to upload any project using Art Impressions stamps or dies to be eligible.  It will be a random drawing.
 Duplicate entries will be deleted.

I will allow international entries but I will ship the sets to Art Impressions if you
win and Leah will include them in your package the next time you order
from the Art Impressions website.

Please include your First Name and Last Initial on your entry.

To enter...Just upload a card or project you've made using Art Impressions products.
That's it!
Any theme and it doesn't have to be a new project.

Contest begins today and ends on July 16th.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, let's see what sets may be on their way to you very soon!

The first set is 5863 Christmas Mailbox Set from December 2023.
Although it was sold as a Christmas set, Bonnie wisely left off anything Christmasy or wintery from the mailboxes and included some fun accessories so that you can create a non-holiday card with this as well.
This set has a whopping 36 pieces in it.  If you missed out on it or are new to Art Impressions, here's your chance to get it!

The second is the 5924 Garden Arch Set.

Good luck to everyone!
I know two of you are going to be VERY happy in two weeks!

You're Still the One Card by Tasha

 Good morning Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a Valentine's Day card created with the AICS27-Love Birds Stamp Set. This set has great stamps for Valentine's Day and is perfect for this week's Ai We "Heart" Hearts Challenge!

I stamped the main image with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. This couple looks so sweet sitting on the bench together and you can feel the love in this little scene.

After stamping I moved on the creating the background. I used full-adhesive post-it paper to mask off the image and Distress Oxide Ink to stencil the falling hearts and pebbled ground. For extra detail I added little white accents with a gel pen on some of the hearts and ink blended around the edges of the card.

Lastly, I stamped "You're Still My Everything" with black ink and matted the greeting with coordinating card stock and pattern paper. I also used the same paper to add three layers before adhering the card to an A2 sized white card base.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you will participate in the current Ai Challenge!

You Are My Significant Otter by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai Fans!!

I am stopping by to share an Anniversary card I made for my husband.  Our Anniversary is not until July but I wanted to make sure I had it done.  I also wanted to show you that you don't to use themed stamp sets for that specific occasion; like this one from Art Impressions called  Valentine Critters stamp set but I am using it as an Anniversary card.

Isn't he just the cutest?? I started by using my Smoky Shadow card base.  I glued a piece of White trimmed down to 3.75"x5.5".  I stamped "to my significant OTTER" in black ink right on my white card base.

I stenciled on my white piece with some yellow ink and some red ink.  Doesn't it just radiate?  I think it really makes my OTTER pop.

I really wanted my OTTER to be the focal point so besides the radiating sunburst, I raised him up with an action wobbler. I finished it off with some red Nuvo drops.

Once again here is a finished look at my OTTER card from the Valentine Critters stamp set.  I absolutely love how it turned out.  I made a second card with the OTTER lower and my sentiment on top, but I like it this way a lot better.

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me. Come back again soon!

Copics Used:
BG93, BG96
E41, E43, E44, E47
R35, R37

Until next time ... Hugs & inky fingers!

love birds by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a card using one of the Ai Store Exclusives Sets. Here I used AiCS27- Love Birds. I tend to grab the fabulous main images in these sets and overlook the equally adorable smaller ones so this time I wanted to focus on the littles!

With Valentine's Day this month, I thought I would go with the "love" theme while it's still on our minds...February is almost over! This card would be great for an anniversary, though, any time of the year.

I embossed the black & white panels together with the "Love is patient, love is kind" verse from 1 Corinthians 13. Then I punched the heart out and adhered the panels to my card base. The birds were colored with Copics and popped up on the diecut leaves. How many of you still have bottles of paper flowers in your stash? Once in a while I still enjoy using them and they were perfect to use for an accent. I filled in the hearts and made a few small dots with a white pen.

Here's the inside of my card.

Have a great Monday and… happy stamping!

autumn anniversary by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a card using two Ai stamps from Hobby Lobby... 4920- Filled with Thanks (a new wood block) and a sentiment from AiCS27- Love Birds (clear set).

This fall image is part of the Windows to the World Collection and actually has some lovely words written around it.  I wanted to use it for an anniversary card, though, rather than a Thanksgiving one so I trimmed the words off.  This was colored with Copic markers and a few simple buttons finished it off.

Have a great Monday and… happy stamping!
