Friendship Mini Journal - Pages 8, 9 and 10 by Janet

Happy Saturday everyone and as they say here in the South, "Happy Fall Y'All!! I have been working on my Friendship Mini Journal and today I have pages 8, 9 and 10. I'm almost finished with this little beauty. When the last page is done, I will post all the pages again so you can see how it looks with all the pages in and fully embellished.

I realized as I was doing this that I seem to have been covering the seasons completely by accident. Gnomes, and and tulips pages show off spring. Pie, berries, and butterflies suggest summer days. These pages feature some fall images. It all fits nicely with the friendship theme for all seasons. My last pages will show off a winter scene so that all the seasons get covered.

Below is the middle page of the journal and it features a gorgeous basket of fall pumpkins, apples, and squash. This comes from 5598 Harvest Set. The sentiment is from 5734 Friends Sentiment Set. I love the colors used here. It makes me want to take a trip to my local Farmer's Market. How about you?

Page 9 features the house image from 5787 WC Mini Journal Set. This has 5 images that are perfect for the mini journal format. I used the mailbox on my cover and a basket on one of my previous pages. Also included in this set is a birdhouse and a cart. In this case, I stamped the house and drew in a path and colored in the sky and grass. The sentiment is again from 5734 Friends Sentiment Set. I framed it with a die included in the 5718 Mini Journal Template.  The patterned paper on this page and throughout the whole journal features pages from the 5835 Mini Paper Pack. The mini patterns are perfect for the small pages.

Page 10 features a pocket and two mini tags plus a plaid background. All are made with dies included in the 5718 Mini Journal Template. The set has so many options for your mini journals. Bonnie and her team gave us lots of great dies to embellish the mini journals that this set cuts out! I added my handwritten hello sentiment and a mini bee brad. I like to put little handwritten words here and there into these journals. Like most people, I'm a critic of my penmanship but I have to admit that I think it adds a nice touch to the handmade feeling of the journals.

Thanks for stopping by today. As I mentioned at the beginning, I'll be sharing my last pages with you soon. In the meantime, I invite you to stop by the store to see all the new releases for your card, journal, and tag making projects.
