Frankly, You're Awesome Card by Tasha!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween card featuring the fun 5509-Peek-a-Boo Set! This new stamp set has quickly become a favorite and this little Frankenstein character is just too cute!

To give a Halloween vibe to the background, I added golden clouds and attached a scary looking tree. I also glued little enamel eyes on the tree to look like bats or some type of creatures were watching from the shadows; I think this adds to the spooky look!

The little Frank character was stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies (included in the set) to cut him and the pumpkin out. He is just the happiest looking monster!
Lastly, I stamped "Frankly, I think you're awesome!" and added grass in a deep olive green shade, layers of black cardstock, and a pretty pattern paper. This card makes me smile and it's perfect to gift to someone special this Halloween!

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a fabulous day!

Trick or Treat Shaker Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween shaker card created with the cute 5506-Peek-a-Boo Set!

This set has quickly become a new Fall favorite and I love the little witch image! I stamped her with black ink and used Copic Markers for the coloring. I think she looks so sweet with her little outfit and pumpkin bucket; she is ready to get some candy!
The greeting "Happy Halloween" is included in the set and was also stamped with black ink. This black & white sentiment looks great with all the colors and patterns used throughout the card!

Lastly, I embossed a leaf design on the shaker background and ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink. I added sequins in Halloween/Fall colors and attached a festive polka dot frame. I also added layers of glitter paper, black card stock, purple card stock, and a colorful polka dot paper to complete the card.

Thank you for checking out today's Fall project and I hope you are inspired to create a Halloween shaker card with the new 5506-Peek-a-Boo Set!

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Halloween Cards by Tasha

Happy Friday Ai Friends!
Tasha here sharing two Halloween cards created with the super cute Happy Hauntings Stamp Set from Art Impressions! This set has quickly become my new favorite Halloween stamp set!

I started by stamping these cute critters with black ink and I covered the images with masking paper. I used Distress Oxide Ink to created the background. I wanted it to look like they were trick or treating in the woods on a fall night. I also added the grass border to make the card more interesting and frame the design.

The sentiment was embossed with white on black paper. I love the look of white embossing and it fits perfectly between the trees!

Lastly, I added orange glitter paper before attaching the card to a black card base. This orange glitter color is really pretty and you know I love sparkle!

Since I love this stamp set so much I made a second card to share today. I used the haunted house to make a little not-so-spooky Halloween slimline card!

This design used masking paper again to block off the house before ink blending the background. After I colored the sky, I used a star stencil and white Distress Oxide Ink to add stars. I love having bright stars on cards!

For the ground, I used a grass stencil and black ink to continue with the haunted house vibe. It's fun to think of new ways to use your stencils and try out different color combinations!

Lastly, I stamped a the greeting "Spooky Salutations" and attached several enamel dots. I also added polka dot pattern paper and orange card stock layers before attaching the card to a lime green card base to complete the project.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards and are inspired to create some Halloween projects with the fun Ai Happy Hauntings Stamp Set!

Magic is in the Air Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a Fall card created with the fun Happy Hauntings Stamp Set!

This set has a variety of images and sentiments, but nothing says Fall like owls! These witchy owls are too cute with their little hats and the bright colors pop against the dark sky background!

The circle frame is from the Bible Journaling Frameworks Set 1 and the frame design works perfectly with the owl images!

The sentiment "Magic is in the Air" was stamped with black ink and I used purple Distress Oxide Ink around the edges. To complete the card, I added glitter card stock and a Halloween pattern paper to the panels; I love all the sparkle!

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you are inspired to create a Fall/Halloween card!

Being a witch is a bad thing? By Sharon Caudle

 Hello AI Fans!!

Happy first weekend in September!  Do you send Halloween cards?  Or maybe you just like to make some decor for your house? I love coloring up Art Impressions Halloween Stamp Sets, and you're going to be seeing a number of them from me in the coming weeks.  This card features the Ghoul Friend Set.  I stamped this fun image onto Cryogen paper and colored them with Copic markers listed below.  I liked the black border across the top, but thought a couple little ghosties would be perfect on it. So I grabbed the Holiday Mansion Accessory Set and stamped the two cute ones from there. What do you think? Keep them or take them off?  Or hmmmm....maybe it needs one more for the rule of threes?

So that's it for me today!  Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today!  And until next time - stay safe, stay healthy, and for sure - stay crafty!!

hugs!

Halloween Fun Owl by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I had to fit in one last Halloween card with this adorable owl from the Happy Meow-lloween Set 4786. I has a candy pail and is reaching for candy so I had to do something a bit different with it.  I decided to make a background with the small piece of candy that came in the set.  We used to do this all the time before we had patterned paper available.

Randomly stamp the candies all over your Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with a Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink because it's Alcohol Ink Friendly.  Color in the candies.  I used my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink markers because they are inexpensive and I love how they blend.  I'll list the colors at the bottom of the post.  Cut your paper out using the All Prettied Up Die From Mama Elephant. Stamp the owl on a separate piece of the same paper and color and cut out leaving a small border of white if you like that look.

Create the background on a piece of Canson XL Cold Press XL Watercolor paper.  Sponge on Four color of Distress Oxide Inks using the Tim Holtz Round blending foams. Start in the top corner with Fossilized Amber using a circular sweeping motion.  Next come in with Spiced Marmalade Using the same motion next to the Spiced Marmalade blending the two together a little.  Your next color will be Wilted Violet and your last color you use will be Black Soot.  As you go through the colors blend them into each other using the previous color for smooth transitions.  Once you have your background to your liking.  Spray it with large drops of water using the Distress Sprayer or use your hands. After about 30 seconds pat the water off with a paper towel. Add some drops of Perfect Pearl Spray and let it air dry.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!
