Trick or Treat Card by Tasha!

 Hi Art Impressions Fans!

Tasha here sharing a new Halloween card created with the fun new 5934 - Spooky Crew Set. This new set has four super cute characters and a cool haunted house stamp that is perfect for a not-so-spooky scene!

I started the card by stamping three characters, little pumpkin hats, and the haunted house image. I used the included dies to cut the images out and colored them all with Copic Markers. After coloring I attached the characters with liquid glue and added foam tape behind the mouse to raise him up. These friends look like they are totally ready for some Trick or Treating!

The background was created with two shades of purple Distress Oxide Ink and I splattered water on top; I love the water spots! For the ground I layered two pieces of die cut grass in a deep olive shade. I thought this shade of green looked nice with the purple sky and was dark enough to go with the Halloween scene.

The greeting "Trick or Treat!" was stamped with black ink on to white paper with a stenciled moon detail. I also attached the haunted house with liquid glue to the background and I tried to give the house a spooky look with cool gray colors. Also, I think the little pumpkin on the side is just too cute!

Lastly, I added silver glitter paper for sparkle, a spiderweb pattern paper, and a bright lime green paper to complete the card. This card was so much fun to make and I cannot wait to make more Halloween projects with the new set.

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Halloween Cards by Tasha

Happy Friday Ai Friends!
Tasha here sharing two Halloween cards created with the super cute Happy Hauntings Stamp Set from Art Impressions! This set has quickly become my new favorite Halloween stamp set!

I started by stamping these cute critters with black ink and I covered the images with masking paper. I used Distress Oxide Ink to created the background. I wanted it to look like they were trick or treating in the woods on a fall night. I also added the grass border to make the card more interesting and frame the design.

The sentiment was embossed with white on black paper. I love the look of white embossing and it fits perfectly between the trees!

Lastly, I added orange glitter paper before attaching the card to a black card base. This orange glitter color is really pretty and you know I love sparkle!

Since I love this stamp set so much I made a second card to share today. I used the haunted house to make a little not-so-spooky Halloween slimline card!

This design used masking paper again to block off the house before ink blending the background. After I colored the sky, I used a star stencil and white Distress Oxide Ink to add stars. I love having bright stars on cards!

For the ground, I used a grass stencil and black ink to continue with the haunted house vibe. It's fun to think of new ways to use your stencils and try out different color combinations!

Lastly, I stamped a the greeting "Spooky Salutations" and attached several enamel dots. I also added polka dot pattern paper and orange card stock layers before attaching the card to a lime green card base to complete the project.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards and are inspired to create some Halloween projects with the fun Ai Happy Hauntings Stamp Set!

Quivery Quakey by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Thursday!

Halloween will soon be here and I wanted to share a project with one of my favorite sets of the Ai new releases. Today I am sharing a card using the new Quivery Mini Shaker set (4793) which includes matching dies!

How cute are these trick-or-treaters?

The image was cut out by hand but the bats, pumpkin, and pig & duck bodies are die cut.  The pig and duck are raised with a Mini Action Wobble for extra fun.

Have a great day and… happy stamping!
