Do you dress up for Halloween? If you do, are you cute scary or SCARY scary??!! LOL! This little cutie pie is adorable! For my card I used #4521 Be Scary Set. from Art Impressions. I would LOVE it if she walked up to my door! What a treat! :)  The papers I used are an older digital set from Nitwit Collections. I wanted to give a big shout out to Georgia and Joel! I got to see them on Friday at the Sacramento Scrapbook Expo! It's always awesome getting to meet someone from the company! Everyone is so nice and I can't tell you how proud I am to work with this company!!

I'm a grown up who still enjoys dressing up so I really love this image!

On the inside I used a verse from another wonderful new set called 4784 – Old Bat Set.

Woohoo, it's almost Halloween!  Are you ready for trick and treating?

I have a yummy sweet and a tag for you this week using the Be Scary set (SKU# 4521) 

and the adorable spider diva is also available in AC Moore wood mounted too. 

Yes, yes, I'm addicted to watercoloring too.  Hehe!  And I colored the image with distress inks and watercolor markers. 

Here are the final products!  All ready to go!

Be Scary Set by Karen Day

Hard to believe that it's October, isn't it??  It's the month that is about all things scary... so today I'm sharing a couple of projects using Be Scary Set (Sku #4521):

This is a 5 1/2" square card, and I kept it fairly simple, just slipping a few bits and pieces behind my image, and I popped up the sentiment.  Now for the fun stuff... when I was planning to use this cute little spider image a few weeks ago, I thought that she would make a hilarious pair of Halloween earrings.  So I bought some Shrink Plastic and got down to business:

For the earrings, I used the More hands, more candy wood mounted stamp that is available at Hobby Lobby stores - same image, but it is just a little smaller in scale.  I stamped her with Stazon ink, coloured the backside with my Copics and used my heat tool to shrink them.  Here's a picture taken after I'd shrunk the first one, so that you can see how small she got.  The colours don't look like much on the larger one, but they intensify when they shrink:

Eat, Drink and Be Scary!

Hello Ai Fans!

Question: Why can you never trust spiders?

Answer: because they post stuff on the web! (hee hee)

Today I am "posting on the web" this adorable card using the Be Scary Set (#4521) from the Halloween 2014 release. The sentiment is included with the set. I think she is super cute and it was fun to colour her up with my Copic markers. 

I added some Glossy Accents on the spider eyes and Stickles on the pumpkin to add some

 fun elements to this card.
