Too Cute To Spook Card By Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween card featuring the 5506 - Peek-a-Boo Set. I LOVE creating Halloween cards and these sweet stamps are just too cute to spook!

The main characters and the happy pumpkin were all stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the included coordinating die set to cut them out and added little white accents with a gel pen. I love the pumpkin so much!

This stamp set includes several greetings, but I decided to use two from the 5037 - Halloween Magic Set. I embossed "Happy Halloween" and "Too Cute to Spook"on black paper. Ai has so many fun Halloween sets that you can mix and match to create your projects.

For the background, I added trees, a bright stenciled moon, and a pretty purple sky. I also added white dots to the sky to look like stars and adhered several glitter bat stickers to add extra sparkle. I also attached layers of green and purple card stock and a pretty silver glitter paper to complete the card.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you are inspired to create a fun Halloween card with the Peek-a-Book Set.

Have a wonderful day!

The Perrfect Halloween Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a new Halloween card inspired by the current "Feeling Blue" Challenge. I LOVE all the Art Impressions Halloween sets, but the 5506 - Peek-a-Boo Set has become a favorite; this little witch and kitty are just too cute!

I have never thought of using blue colors on a Halloween card, but totally think all these blue shades made a cool night scene. To go with the theme, I used three shades of blue Distress Oxide ink for the sky and all my blue markers on the coloring. It was fun to see this design come together and the moon looks so cool with the blue clouds.

To coordinate with the blue color, I decided to add pops of yellow and orange on the girl and cat. I usually make black cats for Halloween, but this sweet orange cat looks adorable!

For the greeting, I embossed "Happy Halloween" directly on to the card. The bright white letters look awesome against the dark blue ground and it's the perfect size for so many projects.

Lastly, I added layers of black card stock, blue glitter paper, and a web pattern paper to complete the design. I hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to participate in the Art Impressions "Feeling Blue" Challenge!

Have a FabBOOlous Halloween Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a Fall card featuring the new 5506 – Peek-a-Boo Set! I LOVE this set and the little witch is so much fun to color!

I wanted this card to be Halloween-themed, but not scary, so I used orange and pink colors to keep it bright and happy! I used a cloud stencil and pink ink for the sky and made the grass orange instead of green. I also added sequins to the sky for extra sparkle!

This set includes several greetings, but the "Have a FabBOOlous Halloween" one is perfect for this design. I stamped it with pink ink and layered it with black card stock to keep it from blending into the background.

Lastly, I stenciled black bats to the background and added four enamel dots before attaching the card to Halloween bat pattern paper. I like all the bats!

New Release - Peek-a-Boo Set Halloween Card by Tasha!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a new Halloween card created with the super cute 5506 - Peek-a-Boo Set

The set includes several Halloween-themed characters and the coordinating dies. It also has this cool window stamp that can pop open to allow a character to peek out. I love how this little kitty looks peeking out of the window!

For the greeting, I stamped "Happy Halloween" with black ink on to a white banner and cut a larger banner with the Ai 5133-Flag Double Stitched Dies. I also added a sparkly web and spider for extra detail! These spider webs are so awesome and come a variety of sizes.

All of the characters were stamped with black hybrid ink and colored with Copic Markers. I couldn't decide which character to use, so I used them all on this festive card. I love these not-so-scary characters!

Lastly, I added purple glitter paper, bright green cardstock, and a star pattern paper to complete the card. I think this interactive card is really fun and will be perfect to send out this Fall!

I hope you enjoyed a peek at the new Ai 5506 - Peek-a-Boo Set!
Have a great day!

Trick or Treat MB Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a card created with the new MB Halloween Set! I love all the MB stamp sets and this new scene is too fun!

The base was created with the MB Template Dies and I used the rounded windows to coordinate with the large window stamp. All of the images were stamped with black ink, colored with markers, and cut with the included dies. It's amazing how much detail can fit into this tiny card!

For the base and envelope, I used double-sided paper with Halloween prints to add to the haunted house scene. I also loved the happy ghost images so much that I also attached one to the envelope; so cute!

I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at the new MB-Halloween set and are inspired to create a MB card. These little sets are addicting and it's super fun to mix and match sets to customize your designs!

Happy crafting!

Trick or Treat Cards by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing two Halloween cards created for the Going Batty Challenge!  I used the fun Halloween Critters stamp set on both cards, but created two different scenes.

The first card has the four trick or treaters in a line and I used silver glitter paper to punch out a moon and stars for the sky. These happy friends look so cute dressed up in their costumes!

The greeting "Have a Fabulous Halloween" was stamped on the bottom of the card with black ink directly on to the ink blended ground. I wanted it to look like cement or a sidewalk.

To complete the card, I added orange and black card stock and a layer of colorful pattern paper. I love how the bright colors frame these sweet critters perfectly!

The second card uses five characters from the set and this little bat image is a great addition to the lineup! The characters are in a different order and I switched up the colors used on their costumes. I also made a darker ground; charging colors will give a totally different look to your project!

The sky is colored with makers and I used a white gel pen for the stars. A good tip is to wait for the ink to dry completely before drawing with your white gel pen to keep the white ink nice and bright!

To complete the card I stamped "Trick or Treat!" with orange ink and cut a simple banner. I was also inspired by the green color on the owl's hat and coordinated the paper layers with it. I love the lime green, orange, and green glitter paper color combination!

Thank you for checking out my cards and I hope you are inspired to participate in the Going Batty Challenge!

Hey Ghoul Friend!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween card created with the fun Ghoul Friend Set. This card was inspired by the Shaken, Not Stirred Challenge and is a great card to send to a friend this Fall!

The images were all stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. For the background, I used Distress Oxide ink around the edges to give a glowing look and I love how the yellow adds a spotlight to the pair! These friends look like they are having a fun time at a Halloween party with their wine and cute costumes!

The greeting "Happy Halloween" is also included in this set. I used the same black ink for the stamping and the leftover orange ink to add some color to the sentiment.

Lastly, I added layers of silver glitter paper and spiderweb pattern paper to continue with the not-so-spooky theme.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you are inspired to create a card for the Shaken, Not Stirred Challenge!

Holiday Mansion Pop Card by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Holiday Mansion Pop Card stamp  and die set along with the Pop Card Template for this interactive Halloween card.  I love this entire line of stamps because they are fun to open.  Remember, you need to get the Pop Card Template separate to make the Pop Cards work.
I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post.  I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the ghosts. I cut the Pop Card Template from a piece of clear acetate.  Its way easier to use than paper when assembling the haunted house. I added the three pieces of the haunted house to the template following the directions on the package.
I added a layer of Martha Stewart paper to the front of the card and cut it out with the center of the decorative frame dies from Crafters companion.  I used the same dies to cut a frame from black paper. I then attached the frame over the opening.  I also added some stamped images tot he front of the card.  I then followed the direction on the holiday mansion to attach the pop card to the inside of the card.
Copic Colors Used:
House- CO, C1, C3, C5, C7
Windows - C7
Witch Skin - E11, E00, E000
Witch Hair - Y15, Y18
Ghost - C1

Cat - C3, C5, C7, R81
