At The Movies Teacher's Gift

Hello AI Fans!

It's Karen here, with my inaugural post on the AI blog!  I had a lot of fun making my project this week...  with the end of the school year upon us, I decided to make a thank you gift set that would be great to give to a teacher.  I used the fabulous At The Movies Set -(sku#4237) from the Girlfriends Collection to make the card, then a matching gift card holder for a movie theatre gift card, and finally a cute little popcorn holder that I'll wrap up in cellophane to complete the gift.

Here's a close up of the popcorn munchin' gals:

I started by cutting out all my diecut pieces:

After assembling the popcorn & gift card holders, I used my sewing machine to zigzag my background pieces onto the card base, added my film strip and glued down my main image.  The real fun was setting up my little photo shoot and trying not to get greasy popcorn on anything!  I'll leave you with the Copic colours that I used:

Challenge 69 - Gift Card Holder

Another week, another event. I'm booked through August, are you? Between graduations, weddings, baby showers and birthdays ... it's going to be one long summer! With all these parties, comes the need for many gifts! We thought it would be fun to get creative with gift card holders this week. Everyone likes getting cards, but they might be just a little sweeter with a little money inside! Check out our amazing DT as they pulled out all the stops again this week!

You might have seen my first giftcard keeper in brown and green,

here comes the second one...

This is made with Gift Box stamp set.

I stamped the image to  patterned paper so didn't need to color the box, fun =)

I also added ribbon and flowers to my card.

There comes good instructions among with all stamp sets.

Gift card holders

You might all have seen these all new gift card holders. Such an great idea !!!

It was very fun to create something new with these new stamps.

Here's one of my creations.

I choosed the main colors to be brown and green..

This is made with Mailbox Card Keeper stamp set.

I've colored the image with Distress Inks.

Added some ribbons and flower.
