Friends Who Laugh...Last! By Crystal Schneider

Hello AI Fans!

This week I played with Comfy on the couch set 4050. I started by stamping the image onto a 6"X6" piece of water color cardstock. I made a mask for them so I could ink the background. I wanted the living room to be fun so I added pink carpet and stenciled a fun pink pattern for wall paper.

I thought this week I would color with something different other then alcohol markers for a change. I have not used water colors in a long time so thought I would use them this week.

I used Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers by coloring on an acrylic block and then I used a water brush to apply the color to the image.

After all of the painting was done I added the sentiment "Friends Who Laugh...Last!" to the bottom of the card.

I ended up trimming the watercolor cardstock down a little bit and rounding the corners. I matted the watercolor cardstock onto some black and white pattern paper. I adhered the card panel to a 6"X 6" card base.

Happy Stamping!

Comfy on Couch by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
There's nothing like colouring up one of the Ai Girlfriends images :o)  I selected some bright girly coloured papers that would work well with them all being in their jammies, and then set about colouring the image to match.  Here is Comfy on Couch Set (Sku #4050):
I had an oops happen when I was almost finished colouring the entire image.  If you look at the gal on the left, where her hip meets the sofa... I was using that darkest plum shade, when it suddenly dropped a huge bubble of ink on my paper!  If you look closely you can still see traces of purple on the sofa, but by and large I was able to chase most of it back onto her top with my colourless blender.  Whew.
I popped up the sentiment and the eyeglasses, and added a few gumdrops to finish things off.
 Copics used: Skin tones - E37, E34, E31, E11, E00, E000, E51, E50
Hair - E18, E07, E02, E57, E55, E53, Y26, Y23, Y50, C7, C5, C3, B21
Greens - G46, G43, G40
Blues - B28, B26, B24, B23, B21, B37, B34, B32

Pinks - R89, R85, R83, R81, E22, E20

Good times!

Hello hello Ai friends, I hope you had a fabulous weekend.

It's time once again for these wonderful Girlfriends and today I created a simply fun card using the
Got to love these Girlfriends chit chatting and laughing the day away.

To create the background, I decided to try out these Pan Pastel (neutral grey shade), using a stencil (Magenta Geometric Trio), and I sealed it with a fixative spray.

Then, I colored the Girlfriends with Copic Marker and fuzzy cut them out twice.
(First - the Girlfriends with the couch, Second - just the Girlfriends)
Then adhered to the stencil background with pop foam tape.

For the sentiment, I stamped it with Veramark and heat embossed in white!

Viola!  I hope you like it and have a great day!
