Challenge 106 - 'Pin It' Use Hat Pins, Safety Pins or Clothespins

Hello Ai Fans!

We are a WEEK away from our new blog launch! Our challenge will now be spanning two-weeks (for extra inspiration and time to create!) plus we'll be upping the ante with big prizes! We're looking forward to our new look and new products showcased on our blog.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
We'll be having a blast on April 4!
You don't wanna miss out!!!

Plus I don't think you want to miss your favorite ladies ...

Welcome to our 'Pin It' challenge! We were slightly inspired by Pinterest but mostly inspired by all the fun pins there are to add dimension to your crafty projects! You can use hat pins, safety pins or clothespins for this challenge. We can't wait to see your projects!

Since this challenge was so fitting, we decided to launch a 'Pin It' hover button on our images! Easy for you to pin to an inspiration board! Also, if you're a huge Pinterest fan (who isn't?), you can add a fun 'pin it' option to your Chrome or Firefox browsers so you can just right click and select to pin any images. Hope you enjoy these little tips!

Check out the projects from our DT! Hope you find them 'Pinteresting'!

As Requested... A Lovely Dress Tutorial!

A faithful reader wanted to know how I made this dress card... well... ask and ye shall receive!
First, I stamped the skirt onto a piece of scrap paper. Art Impressions makes this skirt stamp so this card is super simple and really easy to make!

Next, I cut it out and scored the pleats and folded them .There are a few ways to fold the pleats, it is really fun to let creativity be your guide.

I stamped the top of the dress onto the backside of glitter paper and cut it out. I then adhered the top (also a stamp from Art Impressions) onto my background and then I added some liquid pearls for the belt.
I adhered the skirt and dabbed a little bit of zig 2 way glue onto my background where the pleats meet to keep them in place and at the top of my post is the finished card! thanks for poppin' by and if you have any questions, please ask! We are more than happy to share our love of Art Impressions stamps!
