Teeny Tiny Challenge #393 Week #1

Hello Ai fans and welcome to our latest challenge!

Teeny Tiny!
This will be our final Bi-Weekly challenge of 2024 and then we'll move on to our Design Teams' favorite cards of the year.

Over the next two weeks we want to see your cards and crafty projects that are teeny tiny.

These can be tiny cards, bags, gift boxes, journals, ornaments, tags, earrings etc., as long as they're small.

Before we see what our Featured Designer Dori has in store for us, let's see who won our Masculine Masterpieces challenge.

For our Top Spot we chose Julie W.

Hello AI Friends!

I'm so excited to share my "Teeny Tiny" card for the Teeny Tiny challenge.  This could not be any smaller but it made for the cutest little card and you can make any shape card with any die that you own.  It's so easy and you will LOVE it!  I bet you make this style card in bundles once you see how fun they are.

I decided to use the shoe house from the #5935 Fairytale Houses to create my teeny tiny shaped card.  I also used a couple of the fairies from the #5345 Fairy cubbies.

I started out by stamping my images onto copic friendly paper with memento black ink and colored them with my copic markers listed below.  I die cut the images with the coordinating dies that come in each of these sets.  I also cut two extra shoe houses out of plain white heavy cardstock for the card base.  I cut one extra of the fairies and the flowers out of the heavy cardstock to add depth to the image, as well as stability, instead of using foam tape.

To create the card, take the two shoe houses cut from the heavy white cardstock and stamp the sentiment onto one of the houses.  Score, and fold back, at 1/2 inch from the top.  Place glue only on the top edge from the fold and above.  Take the second shoe house and place over the sentiment layer.  This should create the actual card.  Place glue on the top shoe house and adhere your colored image to it.   Decorate with the fairies and the flowers and your teeny tiny card is finished.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and you try this method out with some of your other stamp sets.  You can make the fold on the left side as well, depending where the fold would be better placed.  The top worked best for this image.
These would make cute little note cards to put in someone's lunch or backpack or on the front of a gift bag.

Enjoy creating!!

Teeny Teapot by Dori Mendiola

 Happy Thursday AI Friends!

My card today was inspired by the current challenge "When a Door Closes" utilizing the #5935 Fairytail House set.  This is the cutest set and makes the cutest teeny cards.  Back in December 2024, I created a Teeny Shoe card utilizing this set.   Here is the link to that post.  https://artimpressionsstamps.blogspot.com/search?q=teeny+shoe

For this challenge, I used the Teapot stamp and die and placed it on a teeny tiny hexagon card.  It's approx. 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches.

I created the hexagon card by die cutting two pieces from heavy cardstock.  I scored one of the hexagons about 1/4" from the top and folded towards myself.  I placed glue on the scored fold and adhered the other hexagon to it creating the card base.  I then die cut another hexagon out of pattern paper from the #5742 Easter PP and glued that to the front of the card base.  I created a stitched frame and adhered that to the pattern paper front.

I stamped the teapot and the bee from the #5935 Fairytail Houses set onto copic friendly paper with memento black ink and colored with my copic markers listed below.  I die cut the images and cut a second bee out of heavy cardstock to create a popped up effect.  I adhered the images to the card base and stamped a sentiment in the inside and the card is ready to adhere to a gift, hand deliver or send in the mail.  A fun little card to receive!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and you decide to play along in the blog challenge "When a Door Closes".  Any card/project with a door will qualify you for a chance to win a free stamp set.  Click on the tab above for details.  We love to see your creations!

Hope you have a wonderful day!
