Teeny Tiny Challenge #393 Week #1

Hello Ai fans and welcome to our latest challenge!

Teeny Tiny!
This will be our final Bi-Weekly challenge of 2024 and then we'll move on to our Design Teams' favorite cards of the year.

Over the next two weeks we want to see your cards and crafty projects that are teeny tiny.

These can be tiny cards, bags, gift boxes, journals, ornaments, tags, earrings etc., as long as they're small.

Before we see what our Featured Designer Dori has in store for us, let's see who won our Masculine Masterpieces challenge.

For our Top Spot we chose Julie W.

for her beautiful fishing themed card.

Hello AI Friends!

I'm so excited to share my "Teeny Tiny" card for the Teeny Tiny challenge.  This could not be any smaller but it made for the cutest little card and you can make any shape card with any die that you own.  It's so easy and you will LOVE it!  I bet you make this style card in bundles once you see how fun they are.

I decided to use the shoe house from the #5935 Fairytale Houses to create my teeny tiny shaped card.  I also used a couple of the fairies from the #5345 Fairy cubbies.

I started out by stamping my images onto copic friendly paper with memento black ink and colored them with my copic markers listed below.  I die cut the images with the coordinating dies that come in each of these sets.  I also cut two extra shoe houses out of plain white heavy cardstock for the card base.  I cut one extra of the fairies and the flowers out of the heavy cardstock to add depth to the image, as well as stability, instead of using foam tape.

To create the card, take the two shoe houses cut from the heavy white cardstock and stamp the sentiment onto one of the houses.  Score, and fold back, at 1/2 inch from the top.  Place glue only on the top edge from the fold and above.  Take the second shoe house and place over the sentiment layer.  This should create the actual card.  Place glue on the top shoe house and adhere your colored image to it.   Decorate with the fairies and the flowers and your teeny tiny card is finished.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and you try this method out with some of your other stamp sets.  You can make the fold on the left side as well, depending where the fold would be better placed.  The top worked best for this image.
These would make cute little note cards to put in someone's lunch or backpack or on the front of a gift bag.

Enjoy creating!!

Have a Magical Birthday Card by Tasha!

 Hi Ai Fans!

Tasha here, happy to share with you my latest card creation inspired by the current Art Impressions Challenge, "You're a Gem." When I heard those words, my mind immediately wandered to all things sparkling and magical, leading me straight to the 5345 - Fairy Cubbies and 5790-Fairy Houses Sets.

I began by stamping a delightful fairy house at the heart of the card, surrounded by three hot air balloons floating in the sky. But before diving into the background, I covered the images with masking paper to ensure they wouldn't get messed up when ink blending. Masking paper is awesome and a must have for card making.

To create the sky, I used a puffy cloud stencil and blue Distress Oxide Ink. I also did a similar technique to create the ground by using a grass stencil and green ink. I just moved the grass stencil around and added more ink to give a layered look.

Since the theme is "You're a Gem", I embellished with delicate enamel flowers and a shimmering row of miniature gems. I also attached two enamel hearts to the house and large balloon.

Lastly, I added layers of silver glitter paper, pink and black card stock, and a piece of Ai Valentine's Day themed pattern paper. All the pink & red colors look fabulous and I love how this design turned out!

Thanks for checking out my project and I hope you have a great day!
