Love ThingIn the Air

Dana's here to show how she used our In The Air Set! Let's see!

Hello AI Fans!!

Dana here with Valentine tutorial making a shaped card with a metal die!! I'm using the new Valentine Clear Stamp set: In The Air.

I started with a 8.5 by 11 piece of white card stock, scored it and folded it in half.

Next i placed a heart die on the folded card stock, placing the top of heart just over the folded edge. I used washi tape to hold it in place. I ran it through my die cut machine a few times because the die has to cut through two pieces of card stock.

With scissors i trimmed off the point of the heart card. Now it can stand up!

Next i used the same heart to cut some pattern paper and a smaller heart to cut some white card stock.

On the white heart i stamped the super cute skunk from In the Air stamp set. I also stamped one of the sentiments on the heart!

Colored the image with my Spectrum Noir Markers.

Then i wrapped some fuzzy yarn around the pattern paper heart and used a little glue to make sure it would stay in place.

Next i added foam tape to the back of the small white heart. I place it over the other heart so i can leave space for the yarn.

I adhered the pattern paper on my heart card. Then i trim off the extra paper at the top and bottom.

I did have to trim off a little bit more off the bottom because of the added weight of the bow. Last i added a few red and white sequins. Here is the completed card:
