Happy Campers by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I am sharing a card that I've made using one of the wonderful Ai clear stamp sets available through Michaels stores.  Ever since I first saw this set - I've envisioned it as a pop-up card, and have finally made it happen!  The set includes the four images that I've used, along with four sentiments.
Isn't she fabulous?  You can tell she'll freely give out advice, when asked or not :o)  I cut one of the sentiments into a speech bubble shape to go with her.  Here's the inside:

I used a background die for the hillside, and manually cut out a chunk of the green to form a lake shape behind him.

I think this would make a great retirement card, or maybe a bon voyage card for someone setting off around the country.  Here's a picture to show you the little cutouts that I made in the green cardstock so that the images would stand up:

I added a little die cut shape to the inside, for a spot to write a message.  I think my bright and cheery colours would qualify it for our current Spring Colors challenge!  If you haven't already linked up your creation - there's still time.  Happy stamping!
Copics used: Skin tones - E13, E11, E00, E000
Reds - R37, R35, R32, R30
Greens - YG05, YG03, YG01

Yellows - Y38, Y35, Y32

Adorable Bunnies by Kerry

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!

I can't believe April is just 2 days away and Easter is right around the corner.  I want to share a couple of cards using the Windows to the World Bunny in Tulips, First Bloom Windows, and the new Window die.

For the front of the card, I embossed the background and cut out the center using the Window die.  And I only used the outer square portion.

And here is another card using the new First Bloom Window stamp.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a great day!

Welcome our NEW Design Team Members! Dana Warren & Diane Zechman!

We are so excited to announce our two newest members to the Ai Design Team! We hope you welcome Dana Warren & Diane Zechman! These two wonderful ladies are very talented and know they'll be a great addition to our team! You can read a little about them below and see their posts the first full week in April!

Let's welcome Dana & Diane! :)

Dana Warren - Brighton, MI
Hello, I’m Dana Warren and I live in Brighton, Michigan. I’m currently doing school full time and working in retail part time. I have been card making for about 11ish years or so and in 2011 (I think, hehe) I started my blog. Since then I have been lucky enough to be published, to be a part of a few different design teams and make some awesome friends along the way! I am mainly a card maker and my great crafty love is stamping, so I really love my stamps and inks! I love mixing stamping with different techniques and products, for example: stencils, dies, pattern paper, ink, paint and embellishments. A love of coloring has grown over the past couple years, I love using Distress Markers and Copics. I was first drawn to Ai stamps because of the hilarious sentiments, I mean who doesn’t love a funny card! And of course they have awesome images to go with the funny sentiments!! I’m so excited to be a part of the Ai Design Team and looking forward to sharing my cards with all the Ai fans!!

Diane Zechman - Towanda, PA
Hello! I am Diane Zechman from northeastern Pennsylvania and I am happy to have the opportunity to share my paper-crafting projects with you. In a few months I will have been happily married to my wonderful husband for 30 years. We have two daughters who are both married now which leaves us as empty-nesters except for one spoiled little dog! I’m also known as "Cookiestamper" on the internet because I love cookies and in the past I've enjoyed creating designs on them with a collection of cookie stamps.
I have been actively rubber stamping and paper-crafting since the year 2000 and was quickly hooked on this hobby! Along the way I have been blessed to be a part of several design teams which started with the Splitcoast Dirty Dozen in 2005. I love working with many different styles, creating cards and various 3-D items. I enjoy doing different techniques (one of my faves is paper piecing) and designing my own templates. Some of my favorite products are the Scor-Pal, Copic markers, and dies. I enjoy all styles of stamps but I am especially drawn to whimsical images. Art Impressions has wonderful characters, which paired with their witty sentiments just make me chuckle and hopefully bring a smile to others. I am honored to be working with Art Impressions and I hope you enjoy the projects I will create!

Easter Place Setting

 Hello Ai Fans!

I am planning on having family over for Easter dinner was wondering how I could spruce up my table. Then it hit me..... use my Easter stamps from Art Impressions! I made place cards for everyone using the Easter Basket (sku#4117), napkin holders using the small Easter chicks (sku#4025) and goodie bags using Basket Bunnies (sku#4021).

Sample of how my table will look

Copics used:
Basket: E43, E44, E47
Skin E00, E02, R20
Bunny Outfit: T1
Eggs: R81, Y11, YG61, BV00, BOO
Chicks: Y13, Y15, Y17, YR09, E55, B0000, T0

Something I am trying to do is think how I can use what I have on hand for more than just card making. This is a perfect example of how you can use your stamps for more than just cards. I hope all my guests will feel special knowing I took the time to decorate my table with love. Thanks Ai for making such cute images to inspire me with!

Happy Stamping!
