Now we're ready to share Sharon's amazing Llama card.
Keep in mind, when viewing this adorable card that this artist has recently gone through not one, but two eye surgeries!  We tip our crafty hats to you Sharon for an amazing job!  Best of luck in your recovery.

 Hello AI Fans!

It's time for a new challenge and it's a fun one! So show us your Furries and Feathers in the next two weeks for a chance to win a free stamp set of your choice!! Today I'm featuring #5458 Llama Set.  I LOVE this sentiment!! LOL! I stamped the images onto Cryogen white paper and then colored them with Copic markers. This set comes with the dies (don't you love that??!!) so it was super easy to cut them out.  I thought I'd explain my card making process for those that might be curious.  I always choose my stamp set first, then go for paper that "feels" right for the stamp set and what I want to convey. Then I'll choose the markers I want to use to match the paper. Here's a pic of that.

Art Impressions is carrying #5765 Steel Die Cutter, so I purchased them to try them out. Oh my gosh, they are so much better than what I had been using. They cut through those dies like crazy. Make sure you're wearing safety glasses cause those little pieces of connecting metal can go flying! I also love using the Post It tape for holding my dies to my paper. I used to use Washi tape, but there have been too many time that it tore my paper after running it through the die cutting machine several times. The Post It tape is perfect and it has never torn my paper when removing it!

Do you have an issue with storing your dies after cutting them apart? Here's how I keep them.  I bought a package of magnetic pages from Amazon and then cut the sheet down to fit into the stamp package right behind my stamps.  It keeps the dies right with the stamps and it greatly reduces the chances of a small die slipping out of the package when being stored.

And finally a few pictures of my finished card. For the sentiment, I used a couple of dies from the Journal Template Die Set #5543.  This set is SO amazing and has so many dies.  I am constantly using something from it on my cards.

So that's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by to check out the new challenge! Can't wait to see what you create for it!! Until next time - stay crafty!!
