Get by With Your Friends by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I think this image from the Bench Set is so heartwarming! It could really be used for many different occasions. I decided to keep this a simple card all about friendship.
I stamped the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper with Gina K Designs Black Amalgam Ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post.
I cut the image out with the Oval Double Stitched Dies. I attached it to a layer of patterned paper that was cut with the Rounded Rectangle A2 Dies.  I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Clare Nocturne ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder and then cut it with the Flag Double Stitched Dies. It's all attached to a white A2 card that was edged with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.
I colored two images and placed the sentiment in a different place on each one.
Copic Colors Used:
Face - E000, E00, E11, E04
Green - Yg61, YG63, YG67
Rose - R81, R83, R85
Yellow - Y21, Y23, Y26
Tan - E40, E42, E44
White - C00, C1, C3
Warm White - W00, W1, W3
Dark Boots - E42, E35, E44

Group Hug by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

Today I am sharing two cards featuring the Bench Set! Figured I better get these up while its still winter! Well, maybe not technically still winter but here in Western Michigan in snowed 7 inches last week, soooo... I think these cards are still relevant!! LOL!!

To color both images I used my Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Watercolor pencils. I can't find my list of colors I used (I'm sure I'll find it next week!, LOL), but it was a lot! I usually color with a darker pencil for the shadows and lighter for the other areas. Instead of using water to activate the pencil, I used a colorless blender marker. You can pick up a basic one at Micheals, but know that it will stain your nib. After coloring I fussy cut out each image.

For the first card, I used some blueish woodgrain pattern paper and added it to a white card base. Then I added a strip of brown cardstock and added the Bench image with foam tape.

I found a watercolor doily on my desk from another project and stamped the Group Hug sentiment. Then I added it to the top of the card with foam tape and trimmed off the excess. Last I added two snowflake brads, but I cut off the legs and used foam tape and glue to adhere them to the card.

The second card I found some star constellation pattern paper and cut it with a stitched rectangle. Then I white embossed the sentiment Sending Hugs Your Way!

From the same pattern paper, I added some colorful strip paper and then added the image with foam tape. This one I kept a little more simple buy not adding any embellishments.

Enjoying a snowy night with your BFFs by Kerry

Hello hello Ai friends and happy Monday to you.
I know winter is still a little time away.  But I have been wanting to use the Snowflake Dies forever.  Since I can't wait any longer, hehe!  I decided it would be wonderful for the BFFs from the Bench set  to enjoy a beautiful snowy night, right?

For the snowy background I used Color Burst, I started by misting the watercolor paper with water.  Then sprinkled the Color Burst and allowed it to do its magic.  I used a piece of vellum to tone down the color a bit.  I added some chunky embossing enamel to create some snow.

For the Girlfriends, I stamped them with Tombow markers on watercolor paper.  And using a damp brush, I softened the edges and colored them a bit.

Sending Hugs Your Way by Dana Warren

Hello AI Fans!!

Dana here and i'm sharing a card featuring the Girlfriends Bench stamp set! Figured i better it use it while its still coat and hat weather!! To help winter gloom i used some flower pattern paper on my card base and used markers that matched the colors.

I stamped the image on white card stock, then cut it out with a stitched oval die. I also used another pattern paper from the same paper pad and cut another slightly bigger oval. Next i used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the image.

I matted the colored image on the yellow oval. Then i stamped the sentiment and cut it out with a much smaller oval. Next i added the matted oval with foam tape on my card base. The sentiment oval when on top and i added a red butting with some twine that i in a bow through the button.

Last i rounded the card corners to better go with the ovals!
