Pigs Fly by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

Today I have a cute card featuring the Guinea Pig Out stamps set! You need this set if you or someone you know loves guinea pigs!! My roommate has one, so I made a card just for her birthday (not this one, I don't think I took a picture of that card! Whoops!!)

I started this card by cutting a cloud border from card stock. Then with distress ink I ink blending above the border, I moved it up and down and to the side to fill the panel with clouds.

Next, I used my Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Pencils to color the cute flying guinea pig!! After applying the pencil, I used an alcohol blender pen instead of water to color in the pig. When that was done I fussy cut him out.

Then I added the cutie to the center of my card with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment We'll Admit We're Old When Pigs Fly!! Last I added a few sequins!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Happy Stamping!!!

Brighten Your Day by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

Have you seen the 2 new Funny Farm stamp sets yet? My card features the Guinea Pig Out set!!

I started by stamping one of the guinea pig images on watercolor cardstock. Then I used my Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Pencils and an alcohol blender pen to activate the pencils.  I used: Clay, Bison, and Gravel. Then I fussy cut him out.

I have lots of older 6 x 6 pattern paper pads that have leftover strips of paper. I can't throw them out, so instead, when I have time first I trim them to make sure they are straight. If they are really wide I will cut them in half. Then I added the strips to a panel in random order. The extra on the sides I trim and throw away (these are too small to use). I keep these panels on hand for one when I need a fast card or two if I just feel like making an easy, no thinking card!! I know we all have days like that!

So, I picked out one of my premade backgrounds and added it to a white card base. From black cardstock, I cut a circle and added it to the card with foam tape. On a strip of white cardstock, I stamped the Sending You a Grinny Pig to Brighten Your Day.

I added the sentiment strip with foam tape and then added the cute guinea pig above the sentiment and on top of the circle with foam tape. Last I scattered a few sequins across the card.

Flock Star by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

If you are a fan of Flamingos and interactive cards you can't go wrong with the Flamingo Wiggle Wabble set! All the Wiggle Wabble sets are so cute!!

To start I added a Simon Says Stamp Dot & Lines stencil to the front of a white card base. I used washi tape to hold it in place. Then I added liquid glue to the stencil, just like it was paste. I set it aside to dry and cleaned off the stencil before the glue could dry.

While my background was drying I stamped and die cut all the pieces from the Flamingo set. Then I used my Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Pencils to color the image, instead of using water I used a basic alcohol blender pen to create a watercolor-like look. I used Petunia, Carmine, Ebony, Strawberry, Coral, Bottle Green.

Then I assembled the flamingo with the tiny brads that come with the set. If you run out an can purchase more here. Next, when my background was drying I added some gold foil and ran it through my die cutting machine. The dried glue is sticky enough to hold the gold foil.

I cut a strip of pattern paper from my scrap pile and stamped the Happy Birthday Flock Star sentiment. I added the strip across the card. Last I added the Flamingo with a wobble.

Crazy Gardening Lady by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

It's finally starting to get warmer and spring tulips and such are blooming. If you or a friend are gardeners then AI's Gotta Garden is the perfect set to have on hand!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions
I started my card by stamping the lady, tools, and gnome on white cardstock. Then I used my spectrum Noir AquaBlend Watercolor pencils. I used Anthracite, Oregano, Apricot, Cypress, Rose, Umber, Ginger, Ebony, Fossil Grey, Midnight Gray, Strawberry, Carrot, Pineapple, Black Umber.  Instead of using water to activate the pencil I used a basic alcohol blender marker. This gives similar results, but a lot easier, no guess on how much water to use. The pencils will stain your pen just so you are aware!

I fussy cut out the gnome/tools and then used a square die to cut out the lady. From my leftover stash, I found some paper that I had used some green ink of some kind to make a splatter background. I cut it into a square and added it and the lady square to a black card base.

Next, I stamped and white heat embossed the Crazy Gardening Lady sentiment below the squares. Then I added the gnome and tools with foam tape.

Group Hug by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

Today I am sharing two cards featuring the Bench Set! Figured I better get these up while its still winter! Well, maybe not technically still winter but here in Western Michigan in snowed 7 inches last week, soooo... I think these cards are still relevant!! LOL!!

To color both images I used my Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Watercolor pencils. I can't find my list of colors I used (I'm sure I'll find it next week!, LOL), but it was a lot! I usually color with a darker pencil for the shadows and lighter for the other areas. Instead of using water to activate the pencil, I used a colorless blender marker. You can pick up a basic one at Micheals, but know that it will stain your nib. After coloring I fussy cut out each image.

For the first card, I used some blueish woodgrain pattern paper and added it to a white card base. Then I added a strip of brown cardstock and added the Bench image with foam tape.

I found a watercolor doily on my desk from another project and stamped the Group Hug sentiment. Then I added it to the top of the card with foam tape and trimmed off the excess. Last I added two snowflake brads, but I cut off the legs and used foam tape and glue to adhere them to the card.

The second card I found some star constellation pattern paper and cut it with a stitched rectangle. Then I white embossed the sentiment Sending Hugs Your Way!

From the same pattern paper, I added some colorful strip paper and then added the image with foam tape. This one I kept a little more simple buy not adding any embellishments.
