Get well sOOn by Nina

Hello sweet fans, Nina here sharing a cute Get Well Soon Slimline card. It is for the current challenge "Dynamic Duo" where we are challenged to create a project using two sets from Art Impressions collections. Today I used Better Soon Set and Health Mini Dies along with Slimline card Dies.

I stamped the patient's image from Better Soon Set and colored it with Copic markers and backed it with foam tape.

Copic Shades I used:

Browns: E99 - E27 - E29

Greys: C4 - C3 - C2 - C0

Teal: BG10 - BG 13 - BG15

Skin: E11 - E13

Reds: R27 E29

For the background I die cut the panel from Stitched Slimline Dies set and then made the two oval opening using an oval stitched die.

I die cut the needle and stethoscope from the Health Mini Die set from white cardstock and colored them using the same Copic shades. I also die cut the S & N letters and colored them with red shades and glued them before and after the oval openings to read the word "soon".

I then placed the panel on the card base, colored the openings with teal shades.  and used mini letter stickers to write Get Well phrase.

I cut a strip from light pink color to be the floor and die cut its edges with the same stitched die that I used for the background to have continuous stitches with the background. I glued the floor then the patient image on top.

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Better Soon stamp set to make a pop up card.  If you need a card for a woman, there is  a similar set available.

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post.  I then cut the images out with Cutterbee Scissors. 

The card is an A2 top folding white note card.  I added patterned paper from the Sea Glass collection from Recollections.  I also added am oval from the Oval Double Stitched Dies using another piece of patterned paper.  It's topped with a smaller oval with the greeting.

The inside of the card is a pop up.  I added more patterned paper inside the card behind wher the pop up will go.  I cut a strip of paper 1"wide and 4 3/4" long.  I scored it at 1", 2", 3", 4" and 4 1/2" to form the pop up mechanism.  I folded it into a square and attached adhesive to the back and bottom and attached it to the center of the card.  I then attached the colored image to the front of the mechanism.

Pillow - B02, B00, B000

Wood - E44, E42, E41

Gray - C3, C1

Hello Ai Fans!

I decided with Winter approaching I had better get a few "Get Well" cards made and added to my stash. It seems we all get sick more often in the winter and there is nothing better than getting a card in the mail to perk you up a bit! My card today uses the  "Get Better" set by Art Impressions!

I am using paper from the Echo Park Reflections collection. The colours are perfect for a masculine themed card. I inked all the papers with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink, it helps add a bit of dimension to your project. The sentiment is part of the set and perfect for this card!

Browns: E43, E44, E47, E49

Yellows: YR21, YR23, YR24

Better Soon Set by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!

Art Impressions came out with a collection of "Get Well Soon" stamp sets this spring, and today I am featuring Better Soon Set (Sku #4864):

I coloured my images with Copic markers, and paper pieced his duvet.  I matted the image and sentiment on some black cardstock to make it stand out, and used pop dots to attach the image circle.

I made the cards 5" square, and added some enamel dots to jazz things up a little.  These are great Get Well Soon cards to have on hand.
