Reneé's top 5 for 2015!

Hello Ai fans!
Due to the busy time of year our bosses at Art Impressions have given us a little time off.  Our assignment this week was to choose our 5 favorite cards from the year.  Not an easy task.  I wanted to choose at least one from every line. I narrowed it down to 10 and then had my husband and two kids vote.  Most of these they chose unanimously.

So those were the 5 they chose.  I was really sad that not one of them picked this next card though.  I know the instructions were to pick 5 but I just had to include this one.  I love the Polar Pals and can see them being used in so many more ways than just for Christmas!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and wish you the best in the new year!  See you in 2016!!

Here's the link to my faves from last year...

Hope you all enjoyed the blog hop yesterday... did you miss it??? no worries you can still hop along with us to win two fabulous prize packages....check it HERE.

Now for my card today...I used a fun stuff for the background.
Embossing Paste
Its every trendy  nowadays!!!! You will see lots of cards with various use of embossing paste all around the blogland. You can find it any craft supplies store in the paint and gesso section.
I used a snowflake stencil and embossing paste to create this fun background. It gives a great texture to the card.
Love this fun image...Polar Skaters (Sku#Q4083), super cute!!!
I used the glitter banner diecut from  Ruby Rock-It.
The sentiment sticker is from Bazzill.
It's a very shiny& sparkly card, the photo is not doing fair justice to it :(

Don't forget to play along with this week's Ai Challenge...

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Sweet Polar Valentine!

Hello Ai Fans!!

You heard me.  It's a polar VALENTINE!  They're not just for Christmas anyomore!
I love the Polar Pals collection and think that they don't just have to be used for Christmas!

On my Valentine card I've used Polar Skaters (sku#Q4083)

I did eliminate one of the bears because, let's face it...on Valentine's Day, 3's a crowd!
The little hearts were made with a M.S. punch.
Just by coloring their sweaters in a V-Day color scheme they take on an entirely different feel.
I also added a sweet little gingham skirt on the "girl".
Don't they just look like they're in love?!
