Your Day Set by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!

If you're like me, you can just about always use a few more generic birthday cards to keep in your stash!  Today I grabbed one of the Art Impressions "Say It Loud" sets to make up a couple of bright, graphic cards.  I am using Your Day Set (Sku#4221):

I love putting bright papers against black... they really pop that way!

I added a little twine, a button & some machine stitching, and we're good to go:

Art Impressions Graduation Cards

Hello Ai Fans!  

Today I'm sharing one last set of graduation cards with you.  We had planned on going to one party this weekend and then on Thursday received an invitation for another one.  Time for a quick card!!

I used stamps from

Sing - Dance - Laugh - Love!

Hello AI fans!

It's Karen here today to share a few cards made from the wonderful "Say It Loud" collection.  These stamps are so versatile; you can colour them, add an image stamp, stamp them as is, or - as I've done, paper piece them!  I've used the Sing Dance Set (sku#4227):

I started by stamping the image on four different polka dot papers:

I hadn't actually intended to do four cards... but once I had these stamped and cut, it seemed obvious that I should just keep going.  Here's what my armchair looked like while I watched tv:

Then I stamped the image again on white cardstock, and started gluing:

I added some Baker's Twine & layered a few paper flowers, and you can't see it in the photos, but I stitched around the white panel on my sewing machine:

Say It Loud!

Hello Ai Fans! 

This week I'm working on a design with one of the fun new word stamps from the Say It Loud! line.   

The set is called Sing Dance Set (Sku#4227). I found the perfect image to go with it - the sassy elephant from the  Elephant Set (Sku#4191)

I stamped both images on design paper and stamped them a second time on Cryogen and colored with my Copic Markers. I cut out pieces of the images from the design paper.

After gluing the design pieces in place, I cut around each image. I used a black water based marker to edge the images and adhered them to the card.

I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Sing Dance set. Doesn't she look like the type of elephant to stay out all night? ;o)
