Hello Ai fans!

I used the Southwest Christmas stamp set to make another Christmas card.  I just love the cut images in this set & couldn't wait to color them up.
I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post.  I then cut the images out with Cutterbee scissors and set them aside.  I stamped the greeting onto a the top corner of white card stock that had been cut with the Banner Double Stitched Dies using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
I attache a piece of Moda Scraps Christmas paper to an A2 card front.  I then attached the Banner Die to it before adding the bunny and Santa to it with foam tape.
Copic Colors Used:
Skin - E11, E000
Red - R37, R27, R05
Grey - W3. W1, W0
Green - YG67, YG63, YG61
Yellow -Y15, Y13, Y11

Disco Dude by Kerry

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!
It's the first Monday of December, are you ready to 'rock' the day away with this awesome disco dude from the Disco set?  Time to party with a bit of shake, shake, SHAKE!  :D

For a little fun, I colored the disco dude with some Christmas colors, adhered him with an action wobble, and we don't need any mistletoe to rock and roll.  How about those hot chills from the Southwest Christmas set?

Copic markers used:

E00, E93, G09, R20, R24, R27, R29, W2, W4, W6, V12, Y11, Y18, Y26, YR23

Warmest Holiday Wishes!

Hi Ai Fans!
Here's an Oldie but goodie from Art Impressions. It's the "Giant Snowman" (Item#1138) and He is absolutely adorable!
I decided to use some of the papers from the Doodlebug "Here Comes Santa Claus" 6x6 collection! I made some snowbanks using a Stitched Snowdrift die from MFT and tucked the "Giant Snowman" into them. I added some Crystal Stickles to the hat band and mittens for some added interest.
I just love this snowman so of course I had to make a few of them LOL. The sentiment is from the Ai "Southwest Christmas" set.
Here's the inside with the sentiment "Bright with Joy" (I think it's retired).
Copics Used:
Snowman: C00, C1, R00, YR04, YR09, E43, E47
Pinks: R10, R11, R13, R15
Reds: R24, R27, R29
Hat: C3, C5, C7
Holly: R24, YG63
Black Gel Pen

Happy Stamping!

Tropical, Southwest & Merriest Christmas by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I have a few cards featuring the newly released Tropical Christmas (Sku #4788), Southwest Christmas (Sku #4787) and one using Merriest Christmas (Sku #4790) to share today.  Now being from Canada (a.k.a. The Great White North...) a Tropical Christmas is a little out of my frame of reference.  But one look at Surfer Santa and that cute little crab, and the ideas started to come together:
Since I knew he needed to be on the sand, I kept the card itself pretty simple, I drew my own beach, and coloured it with Copic markers, then coloured both the crab and the palm tree, and fussy cut them before adding them to my scene.  I opted for just mounting them on a tropical blue cardstock that would act like the sky.
Tropical Santa and the Cacti from the Southwestern Christmas set were simply fun to colour - especially with the bright, acid greens!

And finally, a more classic holiday card using Traditional Christmas... I used a white base, which is something that I don't often do, and paired the red up with navy as the accent colour to frame everything:
I hope you're having as much fun making your Christmas cards this year as I am!  You can find all of these clear acrylic sets in the Ai store, here.  Happy stamping!
