Coffee Obsessed by Dana Warren

Hello, AI fans!! 

Fall is around the corner and the new Girlfriend set Latte Love is perfect for fall and winter!! I went with fun colors because fall doesn't mean that you have to go with dark colors!!

I started by stamping the image on white cardstock and then using my Spectrum Noir Markers to color it. I used: BG3, BG6, BG10, BP1, BT3, BT4, BT5, CR1, CR3, CR4, CT1, CT4, DR1, DR6, DR7, EB5, EB6, GT2, GT3, JG4, OR1, OR4, PP2, PP4, PP5, PP6, TN2, TN3, TN4, TN5, TN7.

I fussy cut out the image leaving a small white border. For the sentiment, I stamped it on a strip of white cardstock. Then I cut some pattern paper from Pink Paislee's Take Me Away with a stitched rectangle. With adhesive I added the sentiment to the pattern paper panel, trimming off the over hang

To spice up the card a bit I added the rectangle at quite an angled. All but one corner were over the card edges, those got trimmed off. Last I just added the image with foam tape.

You Make Crutches... by Dana Warren

Dana, here with a card featuring one of the new AI People! These new stamps make perfect Get Well cards!! My card features the Crutches set.

I started by picking out some pattern paper from Echo Park Paper Co. Petticoats & Pinstripes. Then I picked out some similar Spectrum Noir markers to color the image. I used BP6, BP7, CR4, CR6, DR4, EB5, EB6, GT2, GT3, IG2, IG4, IG7.

I added a pink pattern paper to a white card base, then I cut a stitched rectangle from a blue pattern. I added the stitched panel to the middle of the card. From white card stock I die cut an even smaller stitched rectangle. 

Next, I fussy cut the image and then added it to the card with foam tape. Last I stamped the sentiment on the white rectangle and also added it with foam tape.

Rock & Roll It's Your Birthday by Dana Warren

Hello, AI fans!!

Have you seen the new Mini Shakers!! There are holiday shakers, along with non-holiday Birthday shakers!! My card today features the Rock & Roll Mini Shaker.

I started by die cutting a stitched rectangle and then stamped the skating lady. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color her skin, hair, and skates, I used: BG2, BG4, EB3, EB5, FS4, FS6, FS9, OR1.

Then I stamped the big image and the smaller image that will be the shaker on a few different pattern papers. I fussy cut them out and added them to the images. 

With a brown marker, I gave her some ground to skate on and then stamped the Rock & Roll sentiment in the top left corner and the It's Your Birthday in the bottom left the corner. I added some pattern paper to a white card base and then added the stamped panel. 

Then I used a mini action wobble on the smaller image and added that to the card. Last I found some yellow and black enamel dots to the card.

Happy Valentine's Day! by Dana Warren

Hello, AI Fans!!!

Dana here with a sweet Valentine's Day card! I used the new In the Air Clear Stamp set! I just love these cute skunks!! And you can use the set past Valentine's Day!! 

I started with some white watercolor card stock and a tiny heart stencil. After covering the paper with the stencil i used my Spectrum Noir Aqua Scarlet Marker to color in each of the hearts. A little tedieous, but it turned out great!!

Next i stamped the cut little skunk holding the love balloon and then used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color it. Then i fussy cutting it out, leaving a little bit of white around the image. 

I added some gold stripe washi tape across my heart panel. Below the washi tape i stamped the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment. 

Last i added the image with foam tape and for a little sparkle a few clear sequins!

Reindeer Games

Have you stopped by Michaels and picked up the new Christmas stamp?? Well, if you haven't you better get on it!! These are seriously cute and funny stamps! 

Today's card features the Reindeer set, i stamped the fun reindeer lady on some white card stock. I colored her up with my Spectrum Noir markers, then used a stitched rectangle to cut around her.

Next i stamped the reindeer games sentiment beside her. To dress up the rectangle i added a small brown paper clip and a cool wood chip.

I found some green pattern paper and added it to a white card base. To add a little more red, i added some red ribbon to the bottom of the rectangle and notched the end. The colored panel was added to the card with foam tape.

Merry & Bright by Dana Warren

I've been playing wih the Art Impressions Christmas release!! I paired the super cute Santa from Holly Jolly with the Square Easel Die and some festive Christmas paper.

First i found some double side Christmas paper and used the Square Easel Die to cut out the pattern paper. With a little folding and glue i made the easel card. 

Next i cut the smaller window square from white card stock and stamped the Santa from Holly Jolly. Then i colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers. 

Then i cut the oval from white card stock and then stamped the Merry & Bright from the stamp set. All that was left to do was add the Santa and Sentiment to the easel card with foam tape.

Angel Spinner by Dana Warren

Hiya AI fans!!

Dana here sharing a Christmas card featuring the new Angel Spinner! Such a cute little angel!!

I stamped both the front and back of the angel and colored her with my Spectrum Noir Markers. Then i fussy cut her out, but there is a matching die if you don;t want to fussy cut!! Next i run my spinners through a sticker maker, add some white thread on one side and add the other side, easy and not mess!!

Next i used a circle die to cut the circle from a white card base and some green scroll pattern paper. I added my Angel Spinner to the white card base (make sure she spins!!) then i covered the white card base with my pattern paper.

Then i cut a circle frame from black card stock and added it to my card. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white card stock and cut a notch below it and added it to my card. To make my angel stand out better i added black card stock to the inside of the card.
