Strong Coffee Sweet Friendships

Hi AI fans! We are getting into September so it should start feeling like fall soon if it hasn't already. I love fall cozy sweaters and warm coffee. I thought it was time to start making some fall looking cards so I pulled this Girlfriends stamp set out Latte Love.

I stamped the image onto a piece of smooth white cards stock that I had die cut with a double stitched rectangle die. I then colored the image in. 

I stamped the sentiment "Strong coffee sweet friendships"in red ink.  I added some blue in to the white card stock darker on the edge blending lighter closer I got to the image.

Dare to be Fabulous by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans! 

Today I'm sharing two cards made with the

AICS05 – Dare to be Fabulous set because...let's face it.  We all love the GIRLFRIENDS!!

This verse is one of my all time favorites.

Inside I used another verse from the set.

I made a second version, which to be honest is my favorite.  My sweet, wonderful friend Char recently had some medical problems. I wanted to cheer her up so I made this version to look like her!

I masked off the top of the Girlfriend's head and then drew in Char's hair.  Also, she NEVER wears dresses or skirts so I used the legs from U4897 – Latte Love.

She does love her accessories though and always has her nails painted so I added some nail polish as well. 

I also darkened up the glasses because hers are black.

There are three of Art Impressions stitched die sets on my card too.

I used

5133 – Flag Double Stitched Dies,

5134 – Banner Double Stitched Dies,

5065 – Oval Double Stitched Dies

Inside of Char's card I used a sentiment from

4903 – WC Sentiments Set

Now for the best part!  Since I cut the skirt off of the fur coat and added the pants and boots my pieces were separate.  I decided it would be fun to put the coat on an action wobble.  It's so CUTE!!

One cup at a Time by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

With the cooler weather, it means I can start sharing colder themed stamps!! If you are a coffee or tea fan then the Latte Love set is for you!!

I started my card first by added a Prima stencil to a white cardbase. Then I used a couple different inks and blended them together. I used Papertrey Ink Autumn Rose, Haiwain Shores and Hero Arts Soft Apricot. Then I rounded the corners.

Next, I stamped the image and sentiment. I used a circle die to cut the image out. Then I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color them. I used: AB1, AB2, AB3, AG1, AG3, AG5, AP1, AP2, AP4, BG2, BG4, BG7, BO4, CT4, DP1, DP2, DP3, FS3, FS6, FS9 GB4, MB1, MB3, MB4, OR1, OR3,RB1, RB3, RB4, TN2, TN6.

I added the circle to the card base with foam tape and added a couple black and clear rhinestones.

Take Life by Cheri Burry!

Hello Ai Fans!
Exciting news for Ai and Hobby Lobby Fans!! The Art Impressions "Latte Love" stamp is now available at Hobby Lobby in a wooden block! It's called "Take Life" and stamps just beautifully!

I wanted to keep the background fairly clean to just show off these adorable Girlfriends! I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder to create the background and just added a few enamel dots to finish things off.

Of course I hd ro add some Spectrum Noir Glitter pen to each of the gals too for a bit of sparkle!

I made a frame with the MFT Zig Zag Circle Stax, and cut a circle the same size into my background. Then I mounted the background onto my card base using some foam tape for a bit of added dimension.

Hello AI fans!!

Are you a fan of coffee? If so you need the Latte Love set! It has a great girlfriend image and a couple different sentiments!

I started my card by stamping the image and then using Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils to color. I used Pumpkin, Nectarine, Denim Blue, Royal Blue, Pink Blush, Vivid Pink, Pewter, Black, Mustard, Saffron, Cherry Red, Saddle Brown, Paprika, Amazon Green, Forest Green, Spice Brown, Bark, Yellow Ochre, Espresso, Admiral Blue, Anemone. After coloring I fussy cut the image out.

If you are strapped for time the Kraft Foil paper pad from Bazzill is great to have on hand! It has Kraft cardstock with gold foil in a bunch of different patterns! A great way to have a cool background without the work!!

I picked out the polka dot pattern and added it to a white card base. From a leftover strip, I flipped it over and stamped the sentiment Take Life One Cup at a Time. Then I added it to the card base and then the ladies with foam tape.

Coffee Obsessed by Dana Warren

Hello, AI fans!! 

Fall is around the corner and the new Girlfriend set Latte Love is perfect for fall and winter!! I went with fun colors because fall doesn't mean that you have to go with dark colors!!

I started by stamping the image on white cardstock and then using my Spectrum Noir Markers to color it. I used: BG3, BG6, BG10, BP1, BT3, BT4, BT5, CR1, CR3, CR4, CT1, CT4, DR1, DR6, DR7, EB5, EB6, GT2, GT3, JG4, OR1, OR4, PP2, PP4, PP5, PP6, TN2, TN3, TN4, TN5, TN7.

I fussy cut out the image leaving a small white border. For the sentiment, I stamped it on a strip of white cardstock. Then I cut some pattern paper from Pink Paislee's Take Me Away with a stitched rectangle. With adhesive I added the sentiment to the pattern paper panel, trimming off the over hang

To spice up the card a bit I added the rectangle at quite an angled. All but one corner were over the card edges, those got trimmed off. Last I just added the image with foam tape.
