Grinny Pig Thank you cards by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card that I mass produced. Well, maybe not MASS...
I made 4 of them.

I've needed a lot of thank you cards lately and made these with the
adorable 5003 – Guinea Pig Out Set.
Google photos is so great in these situations. I looked up Guinea Pigs and found a color
combination that I liked.

It's Your Birthday...

Hi Ai fans. I have not a made a card in sometime with this Guinea Pig set so I thought it was time this week to play with it. I stamped the image with Memento black ink which is the perfect black ink for coloring in an image with alcohol markers. After I colored the image in I fussy cut it out. I always keep scraps from other cards or change my mind when making cards and put those pieces in a bin on my desk so that is how this card came together.

The card stock piece with the square die cut out was a scrap from another card I thought that would make a perfect opening for the guinea pigs. I placed that onto purple card stock trimmed to 4 1/2" X 5 1/4" which is the most common size card I make. I thought the guinea pigs needed a little something under them I found this embossed heart in my bin and placed it under them.

I stamped the sentiment "IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY PIG PUT!" under the window. As a last little touch to fill in some open space a glued three sequins which completes my card for today.

Hap-Pig Birthday! by Carol Hintermeier

Hello and happy Monday Ai Fans!

My card today features one of the so cute images from the Guinea Pig Out set.

I really had fun creating this scene for the happy guineas enjoying their cake!  I think they like cake as much as I do!  LOL!

I stamped the guineas onto Neenah Solar White 80# paper and colored with my Copic markers (listed below).  I used a pencil and ruler to draw in the lines for the checkerboard floor.  After I had the floor penciled in and the way I wanted it, I went over the pencil lines with a black marker.   I also used a pencil to mark every other square to be colored black with a  pencil dot so I wouldn't mess it up.

For the banner, I used the smallest die from the Banner Double Stitched Dies and die cut several from patterned paper.  I used Distress Collage Medium to glue the banners to a piece of baker's twine.  After it was dry, I adhered it across the top of my card panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the set with Versafine Onyx black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I cut it out using a die from the Flag Double Stitched Dies.  It is popped up with foam dots, as is the colored panel.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a wonderful, crafty week!

Guinea Pigs Card Set By Crystal Schneider

Hello AI fans!

This week I have been playing with Guinea Pig Out set 5003. I love these cute little guinea pigs so much! I have three cards to share with you today.  I see many mare cards in my future made with them.

I stamped all of the images with Memento black ink so I could color them in with alcohol markers.

Card 1:

I had so much fun coloring these little guys in! After I colored them in I stamped the sentiment under them, matted the image with some fun pattern paper, kraft cardstock, and blue cardstock. Adhered the whole panel to a top folding card base.

Card 2:

For this card I matted it with some fun pattern paper. I used a stencil for the pattern underneath the guinea pig. I attached the guinea pig with an action wobbler.

My daughter has a guinea pig who looks just like this little guy.  When he gets excited to see her he pops up and down.  I love how the wobbler makes him look like he is excited and just jumping up and down on the card.

Card 3:

This card came together really fast I stenciled some clouds on the background and die cut some more clouds to adhere to the background. Matted the card panel onto some wood grain pattern paper. I also attached this guinea pig with an action wobbler too look like he is flying in the sky.

When Pigs Fly! Happy 50th Bithday Jon! by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

My brother is turning 50 this year so his card couldn't be very serious.  It had to be super fun and silly.  I had the perfect Art Impressions stamps for his card.  I used the Guinea Pig Out Set along with the Pig Flutter Set to make a fun birthday card that I think he'll enjoy.

The large image from Guinea Pig Out Set and the pig and it's wings from the Pig Flutter Set were stamped onto Canson XL watercolor paper with Jet Black Archival Ink and painted with the Jane Davenport Watercolors. A very light layer of Prismacolor colored pencils was added over some areas of the guinea pigs to add depth. The colors used are listed below. The pig wings were colored over with the clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker to add shimmer.  The front image was cut and layered onto the card Using the phrase about being old when pigs fly.

The pig and the wings from the Pig Flutter Set were cut out using the die cuts that came in the set.  The set comes with easy to follow directions that made it easy for the pig to be assembled.  Once the pig was together it was added to the inside of the card using foam tape. When the card opens, it reveals a flying pig!

I also made a simpler card that just has the flying pig on the front of the card.  The entire card front was assembled like the inside of the previous card so the pig flutter was on the card front.

Jane Davenport Watercolor Colors's used:
Pig - Kiss Kiss, Cocoa, Buff, Raven
Wings - Dove
Guinea Pigs - Kiss Kiss, Cocoa, Buff, Spice
Cake/ Accents - Blueberry, Butterfly, Ladybug, Mango

Prismacolor Colored Pencil Color's used:
Guines Pigs - Light Umber, Putty Beige, Goldenrod
Cake - Cool Grey 20%

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!
