Dana here with a card featuring one of the new Texas Zoo Crew sets, Armadilos Set. I think this set is sooo adorable!!
I wasn;t sure what color armadillos were so i colored mine in three colors, a grey, brown and tan. Coloring them and the presents with Spectrum Noir markers. I also stamped the sentiment above the image.
I trimmed the panel down a bit and then rounded the corners. Then i found a green card base that i adhered the colored panel too.
Last i added a few matching enamel dots. I tend to lean to enamel dots or sequins when i made my CAS cards, they added just a little more interest!
Congrats! What fabulous coloring on the hilarious Pig Front and Back set! Visit Cynthia's blog to see more pictures of the card. Cynthia, email annelise@artimpressions.com with your address to claim your prize pack!

Hello AI Fans!! I'm super excited today because I get to help celebrate two brand new Try-Fold sets AND three Windows to the World stamps! First I'm going to show you the Haunted House Try-Fold #4688!! Please do not let these stamp sets intimidate you! They are amazingly easy to stamp out and color, and boy do they ever make a huge impact! The complete instructions on how to create your Try-Fold card is on the back of every Try-Fold Stamp Set. It tells you where to position your stamp on each section of your card. I find it easier if I put a small pencil mark where I need to position the stamp rather than guessing. I stamped the card and got busy coloring.
Once you get it completely colored, if you use Copic markers, you'll most likely notice that the ink has bled through your paper.
So at this point, to cover up the messy looking backs of the paper, I like to line the inside of the two outside card panels with a matching paper.
You can then cut around your image as stated in the instructions. Once you get it cut, create a matt for your card (this will cover the Copic blead through from the main image of the Try-Fold and give your card a sturdy base. I usually like to create a double mat.
And this is view with the front panels closed. Isn't it fun?!!
I wanted to create a belly band to help keep the card closed until the recipient opens it. So I just took a piece of matching cardstock and wrapped it around the card. Then I colored up the Giant Jack-O-Lanterns (sku# I1267) and fussy cut it out to attach to the front of the belly band. So fun!! By the way, when I was looking through my stash to find the Giant Jack-O-Lanterns, I discovered I actually have two of them!! So I'm giving one away on my blog! Just pop over to HERE to enter the give away!! I hope you will give Art Impressions Try-Fold Sets a try (heehee) and show us your creation!
Next I'm showing you the With Love Window to the World Stamp! These are really, really, REALLY quick and easy cards! And they are really beautiful too! They fit perfectly with the Art Impressions Window Die (sku 4619) which is what I used for this card.
And a view of the inside
This took no time at all! I really want to practice my water coloring with this image. :) I simply centered the window pane in the upper center of my card front and put it through my Cuttlebug. Then I used a piece of cardstock to cut out the window frame and mounted it to the card front lining it up with the window panes. After gluing that down, I took my snowman image and lined it up in the window the way I wanted it to show, and then adhered it to the inside. Done!
Are you inspired? For this challenge we want to see you cut your cards! Maybe you'll make some tryfold or window cards.... We'd love to see them!

Hello Ai fans!!
I'm so excited to be sharing a brand new release from Art Impressions with you! They have a new line called TEXAS ZOO CREW.
The image I'm featuring is called ARAMADILLOS SET (sku#4685)
I decided to create a pull tab card. One where you pull the top of the card up and it reveals the sentiment.
For my first step I planned out my "gift box" bottom, top and ribbon. I used glue dots to adhere the ribbon. Make sure that the box bottom and the top are lined up when you place the ribbon or they won't be centered.
Next I needed to pop up the space behind the card where the tab
would fit into and slide in and out of smoothly.
Once I had the foam dots in place I adhered them all being careful to line things up and center them. The dots on top will keep the tab from going inside the package too far. It will keep the box lid in place on top of the package.
Here's what it looked like all put together but with the tab slid out to read the verse.
It slides in and out so you can personalize it.
Lastly I colored up the image to match the papers I chose. Aren't they adorable?! I'm a huge animal lover so I adore this new line. We don't have armadillos where I live so I was pretty fascinated by them when I saw them live in person in Florida. I hope you love them too!
