Hello Ai Fans - Bri here! Today, I am sharing a birthday card perfect for a rockin' granny! This card features the Rock On set, which is part of Ai's Laugh Lines collection. Check out the rest of the 2021 releases here. This card is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here!
For the background I wanted it to look like the granny is just rockin' away in a sitting room. I used a pink and white striped pattern paper as the wall paper. I used the ShadowBox Window die set to create a window on the wall. I used Copic markers (E18, E15, E13, E11) to create the wood planked flooring.
The rest of the Copic markers I used to color the granny and the rocking chair are listed at the end of this blog post. I put the Rock On image on a action wobble so the rocking chair moves back-and-forth.
After coloring the floor I stamped and heat embossed the "aging is inevitable maturing is optional" sentiment with white embossing powder. I also stamped and heat embossed the 'Happy Birthday Rock On!" sentiment with white embossing powder onto a Circle Double Stitched die cut. I used foam tape to attach the stitched circle die cut onto the card front.
