Let Freedom Ring! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions Friends!

Tasha here sharing a patriotic card to kick off the big Fourth of July weekend. This card features the fun 6077-Loungin' Linda Set and paper from the 6090-Patriotic Paper Pack. I love all the fireworks!

To begin this card, I stamped Linda and used the included die to cut her out before coloring. I used Copic Markers to color her and added details with a white gel pen; I think she looks awesome in her Red, White & Blue outfit.

To add to the Americana theme, I added the flag from the 5494-Front Porch Patriotic Set and used a piece of firework pattern paper for the sky. Linda looks like she is enjoying all the 4th of July festivities!

Lastly, I attached a "Let Freedom Ring" sentiment and layers of Red and Blue cardstock and silver glitter paper for sparkle.  I think this card is fun and perfect to send to someone this Summer.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Fourth of July! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a fun and festive 4th of July card featuring the 5512-Front Porch Door Set and the coordinating 5494-Front Porch Patriotic Set. These sets are perfect for creating a warm, welcoming holiday scene, and I love how everything comes together so easily!

To get started, I stamped all the images in black ink and used the coordinating dies (included with both sets!) to cut everything out. After that, I colored the images with Copic Markers, using traditional red, white, and blue tones to keep with the patriotic theme.

Once my images were ready, I assembled the center panel with the decorated front porch scene; it really brings the whole card to life! I layered this on top of silver glitter paper for a little sparkle, blue cardstock, and a gorgeous American flag patterned paper from the new 6090-Patriotic Paper Pack. This paper is absolutely perfect for Independence Day cards!

To finish the card, I added some little banners and bows along the top edge for extra detail and dimension. They really help complete the festive look!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you’re feeling inspired to create your own patriotic card using these fun Front Porch sets.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend!

Happy Mother's Day America! (and everywhere else!) by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans and Happy Sunday!
I know it's Mother's Day but I kind of feel like our country is our "mother."

There was an exciting new release on the Art Impressions website a few
days ago.  Did you see??

There's a new add on set to the Front Porch Series.

It may be Mother's Day today, but I'm already looking forward to
Independence Day when I'll be off from work for the summer!

5494 – Front Porch Patriotic Set

My husband and I have a swimming pool so we're almost always the ones to host a
big 4th of July party at our house.  How cute would it be to use this set for invitations
or to have on a table as a Welcome for guests.  We also often host out of town family
that weekend so this would make a great Thank You for Coming card.

This card makes me a little melancholy.
I hope Bonnie doesn't mind me sharing this information.
This set was sent to selected DT members last spring.  We had the
prototypes to work with but the stamps and dies weren't ready through
no fault of Art Impressions.  When I created this card, I used my Boomer as
inspiration for the sweet puppy.  Since I made this card, we lost him.  I'm happy
when I look at this card and "see" him.  He'll always have a special place in my heart.

Please indulge me bombarding you with all of my memories.  I didn't set
out to do this but when I went to grab one photo I just couldn't stop reminiscing.

I'll probably always use him as inspiration when I'm coloring a dog.

When I colored this card I was working without my glasses because I had scratched them.
I see so many coloring errors and I'm cringing.  I can't wait to give this another try and be able to "nail" all of the amazing tiny details.

Live Life on Cruise Control Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a cruise themed card created with the fun 4932-Pack You Bags Stamp Set. This set is one of my favorites (I'm a cruiser) and I like how the ship looks surrounded by stars!

The image was stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I wanted the ship to be the main focal point, so I layered red, white & blue stars and attached it with foam tape to the center. It looks like it's sailing right off the card!

The sentiment "Live life on cruise control" was stamped with a dark navy ink and matted with coordinating red paper. I also carried on the patriotic theme by stenciling blue stars in the background.

To complete the card, I added blue glitter paper before adhering the card to a white A2 sized card base. This card makes me happy and I think it's perfect for Summer!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend!
