Swingin’ Through Retirement! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a fun golf-themed card created with the new 6080-Birdie Betty Stamp Set and the 6101-Golf Paper Pack.

I started by stamping Betty and her golf bag with black ink, cutting them out with the included dies, and coloring them up. One of my favorite things about Art Impressions is how cute the outfits always are; I had so much fun giving Betty a purple and white look with pops of pink on her shoes and glasses. Honestly, I’d love to have an outfit like this for a day on the golf course!

To build the card, I layered Betty and her bag over a patterned paper from the Golf Pack; I love the little golf scene design.

For the sentiment, I stamped “Swingin’ Through Retirement” and die-cut it with a circle, then added a small purple heart to tie in with her outfit. A mix of green, tan, and plaid layers finished everything off with that classic golf vibe.

Hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

Time to Par-tee by Janet

Hi everyone! Are you a golfer or know someone who its? I love golf. As it happens, my city will be hosting the Wells Fargo Tournament in a few weeks. I get to go for a day and I can't wait! I am celebrating by making a card in anticipation of a great time watching golf. The images I used for this is from 4902 Par-Tee Golfers Set. I couldn't resist putting the name of the golf club on the cart in honor of the tournament. Adding special touches like this are one of the things that I think make card making special!

To make this card, I stamped the golf cart with the man, the hole with the flag, and the ball on a tee and colored them with Copic Markers. Then I sketched and colored the stone path. All it needed to suggest the golf course were some sprigs of grass made from a stamp in 4051 - Foliage Set.

The panel is 4 1/2". The mat is 4 3/4" and I the card base is 5" square. Once I had the layers in place and attached to the base, I heat embossed and cut out the sentiment on matching cardstock. Once it was attached, the card was complete!

Thanks for stopping by today. I truly hope my card gives you some ideas of your own. Please visit the store to see all the things you need for your card, journal, and tag making projects. Have a GREAT Saturday!

Par-Tee Golfers, Part Two by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
A few months back, I shared some fun golf cards using the male image in a golf cart from Par-Tee Golfers Set (Sku #4902), so today I am featuring the female golfer included in the set:
She has a bit of a "live-wire" expression on her face, so I paired her with the "Let's Par Tee" sentiment included in the set (there are five different sentiments to choose from).  On my first card I paper pieced her top, and used the same paper to die cut some clouds.
If you're like me, and have whole bunch of golfers in your family... you may want to pick up this stamp set asap.

Par Tee Golfers by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I am in love with all things GOLF when it comes to card making, so I was thrilled when Art Impressions came out with the new Par Tee Golfers Set (Sku #4902):
And of course, they wouldn't be proper golf cards without some bright & bold papers to match his stylish attire.  I coloured up a couple of the images, switched up the papers a little, and used two of the five sentiments that come in the set.

In addition to the little golf ball, there is a flag image, and a wonderful female companion for our male golfer.
 Happy stamping!

Goldie Golfer by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
After our long, cold winter, the golf courses around here are slowly starting to open.  I'm from a big family of golfers, and have golfed since I was about ten years old!  (I even used to design golf clothes when I lived in New York city!)  So... golf themed cards are pretty fun for me to make.  I made this one for my sister's birthday using Goldie Golfer (Sku #4324):
My sister is much more of a die-hard golfer than I am, so I think she'll love it.  Here's a close-up of Goldie:

Don't forget about our Cute as a Button challenge - we want to see your cards including a button or two as embellishments, and be sure to visit the Ai blog on Thursday when we're launching the 2014 Ai People with a blog hop!
