Crystal is sharing a very special project for this challenge!
Crystal: Today we are "Layering It Up" and I am using the Uptown Girls stamp (U4133), pouring on the layers for you ...
I made the card base on my Gypsy and then cut it with the Cricut. The first layer I wrapped with twine and added faux stitching.

The next layer, I cut up a paper doily and inked to age.
girlfriends 4-18 011The next layer is blue with more faux stitching and the last layer is a marble blue and white which I embossed with a cloud folder and inked with Baja Breeze SU ink, so the clouds pop out more.

Next I cut out my Girlfriends, they are colored with Copic markers and paper pieced. I shaded the paper pieces for depth.

I added a bow and handmade flowers to the left side. This is an easel card, so I carried the flowers and layers to the inside so it matches.

Reach for the Stars!

Hello and Happy Friday Ai friends! Today I have a Graduation card to share with you. I'm so excited to finally get my hands on this new Ai Grad 2013 Reach for the Stars stamp SKU# 4292. It's such a fabulous sentiment stamp, and oh so versatile!

My card size is a regular A2 (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") size. I wanted to use a formal color scheme of black, sliver, and white. I used an older paper pad from DCWV 8" x 8" called La Creme Stack (printed paper with flocking). I paired that with black and brushed silver cardstock. I added some black diamond stickles to the cute star in the sentiment for some added glimmer. I added some rhinestone accent swirls to add some extra bling.

On the inside of my card I stamped a simple Congratulations sentiment SKU# G959. I added a large strip of matching designer paper at the bottom. I hope you have enjoyed my Graduation card. I can't believe graduation's are just around the corner! Thank you for stopping by the Art Impressions blog. Happy stamping!

Up, Up and Away!

Hello Ai friends, and Happy Friday! I was so excited to finally ink up this adorable Ai Girlfriends Up and Away stamp, SKU# Y4231. This image is so cute, and so fun to color. This is a very special limited edition stamp too, and all proceeds go to support the Obediah fund. This stamp could be used for so many different occasions as well.

My card size is 6" x 5-1/2". I colored the image with copic markers, and used some cute My Favorite Things die cuts. I'm liking the primary colors to keep it simple and bright.

For the inside I stamped a simple "girlfriends" sentiment stamp that I received from attending Scrapfest 2012 Ai stamp class. I added a colorful flag die cut to match the colors on the front of my card. I hope you enjoyed this fun card. Thanks for stopping by the Art Impressions Blog. Please stop by tomorrow to see what fabulous inspiration Zora has in store.
